Hey stampy friends! I'm looking for a mini scoring board because my huge Stampin' Up one is a bit unwieldy for small projects I've been working on lately. I found the Score Buddy, one from WRMK and one from EK Tools. They all look about the same so if any of you have one of these and use it regularly, would you recommend it? Thanks!

Do not get the EK sucess one. When you score it at 4.25" for an A2 card, it scores off center by just enough to be very annoying. Maybe a 1/6th". It's mentioned in reviews around the web, which I didnt see until I got it and realized that it was an issue :/ Why it hasn't been fixed is beyond me.
I ended up donating it and got the Scor-Buddy. 1000% better!

So far it sounds like I better get the Scor-Buddy. I better buy it before I go on a spending chill this month. Today counts as last month still right?

I have the Martha Stewart small and large scoring boards, and I love them both.

I also have the Mini Martha Stewart board. The only thing I would change is to hav a skinnier scoring tool. I tend to go off line if I score too fast. I’d like to find a ball end stylus to use with it.

I use the Martha Stewart mini score board. I haven't had any issues with making card bases since I watched these two videos. The one from GinaK is how I score - slightly down from the top of the board, three passes with scoring tool and fold with the "valley" side on the outside of the card. The one from MayMay is how I fold - using the side of the score board as a guide to line up the ends and make sure they are even before creasing. I hope this helps. link to GinaK (start at 1:49) link to MayMay

I have Scor-Buddy's. I like the match between the board and the tool. If you are having a problem with your scoring tool, test some of the different size burnishers, maybe one will be the right size.

I had one from Hobby Lobby's store brand. It's measurements were off. Got rid of it. I now have the EK Success one and it is off too. I should have looked at the reviews. I may be ditching it for the scor-buddy!
