Do you have a favorite marinade for grilled chicken? We usually grill it plain, but I’d like to try something new.

I throw my chicken breasts in a bag with olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and Mural of Flavor from Penzeys (shallots, garlic, onion, lemon and orange peel, chives).

So good. I recently discovered I love Lemon Pepper, but not the regular lemon pepper you get at the grocery store, I buy the bag from our local store that sells Middle East and Indian foods. I think its Sadaf brand? IDK but it's got tumeric and other magical stuff in it. Its so freaking delicious. I rub that all over my chicken then marinade in EVOO and more lemon juice. Then I'll grill onion slices and whole tomatoes and peppers and steamed rice and cucumber salad on the side.

I use buttermilk and paprika, garlic salt, and a tad of sugar plus a little “Butt Rub”. Place on zip bag and refrigerate for 4 hours. Good on grill or baked in oven @375.

Poultry is one of the only meats we eat, and you'll notice a difference even if you just put them in some salt water beforehand, IMO. Another thing we do is 100% apple juice - it came from a recipe my daughter uses for BBQ chicken nachos.
If you want to add some Asian flair, use a combination of soy sauce, onion, garlic, and fresh ginger. If you can't find low sodium soy sauce, you might want to offset the salt with some brown sugar in the mix.

Pioneer Woman’s Ranch ChickenIt’s the best stuff ever. In this recipe, she makes sandwiches, but we always just eat the breasts with a side vs as a sandwich. I also make it without cheese, but the cheese “glues” the bacon to the chicken, so your choice!

We use McCormick's Grill Mates. Zesty Herb or Mesquite are our go to flavors.

I’ve been using Trader Joe's Cuban Style Citrusy Garlic Seasoning Blend - a blend of garlic, lime oil, lime juice, onion powder, salt, and red pepper-plus bay leaves, coriander, cumin, cilantro, black pepper, oregano, cilantro, basil, lemon oil, marjoram, and parsley. I rub it on boneless, skinless chicken breasts very lightly and grill it. I find it’s still very flavorful and not too spicy when using a small amount. I like to cut up the grilled chicken breasts for Chicken Cesar Salad.

I buy the Kroger brand creamy Italian dressing and squirt a bit in a ziplock bag with my frozen chicken breasts, put them in the frig and wait for them to thaw.
Before I grill them I sprinkle Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning on top.

Equal parts olive oil, balsamic vinegar and soy sauce - plus a few cloves of minced garlic and 2-3 tablespoons Frank's hot sauce. (does not make it spicy)
My family loves this for chicken breasts, even the kids who usually complain about white meat.

This is the BEST chicken marinade! I keep making this to rave reviews. I always make a little extra hoping to use it in a salad the next day and there’s never been leftovers. My middle school culinary students even learned how to make shredded chicken tacos using this recipe. Also, so many of the recipes on this site are delicious! www.modernhoney.com/the-best-chicken-marinade-recipe/

If you normally have plain chicken you might not like any of my favourites. These are the ones that I do most often: Garam Masala Chicken: garam masala, paprika, turmeric, sea salt, garlic, coriander, natural yoghurt Garam Masala, Chilli & Lemongrass: garlic, lemongrass, red chilli, turmeric, garam masala, kecap manis (sweet soy), fresh ginger, vegetable oil, fish sauce, rice wine Thai Style: coriander roots, garlic cloves, white peppercorns, turmeric, fish sauce, kecap manis Simple Thai: equal amount of sweet chilli sauce and kecap manis, then half that quantity of lime juice Greek chicken: olive oil, parsley, oregano, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, Greek yoghurt These are all best with chicken thigh fillets of course, but I know some people prefer breast, so you could use breast if you must!

McCormick Grill Mates Chipotle Pepper so good for fajitas or if you like a little spice.
My friend also tried the McCormick Honey Sriracha and said it was tasty.

I ended up making this one based on the ingredients I had on hand. My family loved it, even my husband who complains about chicken being too boring. Lots of ideas for next time too! Thank you!

My favorite grilled chicken is to salt and pepper each piece first, then marinate in olive oil, lemon juice, onions, garlic and oregano for 30-60 minutes before grilling.

McCormick garlic and herbs bottle has a marinade on the bottle that I love. Basically is that herb mix, vinegar and oil. I wing the measurements of it now, but I love it..

We don't typically use a marinade, we prefer rubs and the ones by Tom Douglas are delicious. My very favorite is the 12 Spice Chinese rub.

I like to cut up the grilled chicken breasts for Chicken Cesar Salad. I had that seasoning for a while in my pantry before I tried it on chicken tenderloins to grill. It's become a favorite way to prepare it. I make a greek chicken marinade with yogurt/juice of a lemon and some zest, garlic cloves, EVOO, kosher salt. Greek chicken usually has oregano but I'm not fond of it, so I sub parsley or just skip it. Also, EVOO, fresh rosemary, balsamic vinegar, s&p

I usually use a garlic teriyaki sauce from the Asian section. Thin it out a bit with soy sauce.
I recently dumped a small jar of pesto sauce in the baggie with chicken and grilled them after putting some garlic salt and pepper on them. DH liked that and wants to do it again.
