Happy July!!! I hope everyone is having a nice weekend and enjoying family and friends. With 4th of July and Canada day I'm sure there is a lot of celebration happening. If you are staying home and need a crafty project for this long weekend, here are the SheetLoad videos for the month of July For the free printable youtu.be/YbLbrDqHoLEProcess video youtu.be/-MMw0h39dzUFor the extra challenge I want you to make Christmas cards or use Christmas colors. This will give extra 10 points. Easy-peasy counting 12 cards x 10 points= 120+ 10 extra= 130

Here are my cards. Im not loving them, maybe its the paper choice or this sketch, not sure. I will definitely make another set and maybe change up the cutting. I did change the measurement on CS1 instead of 3.375 square to 3.25(3 1/4)square. I don't like thick borders and this just works better for me and much easier to cut. http://instagram.com/p/Cfg8ewTLokl

Thanks for posting the July SLoC, azcrafty. And for showing us your take on this card design. I had trouble seeing "Christmas" in Crafty Al's choice of papers, but yours look very festive! Now do I DARE open that corner cupboard where in February I stuffed all things Christmas?

Your cards are so lovely, cute and festive. I'm working on mine right now! (No Christmas theme...)

I actually started these before your post. I only made 8 and matched instead of mixed the triangles. Just the way I wanted it.... One of these will go to your card request for the special birthday. Thanks for posting the SLOC thread!

Oh..what a great idea! I love it matched up instead of being mixed. I will have to make my next set like that. And thank you so much jjpeapea for sending a card for her.

I've never taken time to look at the SLoC links, but those are really cool! Your cards all turned out great! I'm definitely going to try this.

I've never taken time to look at the SLoC links, but those are really cool! Your cards all turned out great! I'm definitely going to try this. I think you'll like them. Its a fast way to make lots of cards and use up some patterned papers with minimum leftover. I sometimes use the leftover pieces to decorate the insides like I did with these. I hope you'll give them a try and comeback and share your cards with us.

Thanks for hosting this each month, azcrafty. I love your Christmas cards. Those little sweaters are perfect. The Christmas colors in pastels are really pretty. jjpeapea, your cards are so pretty and I love the variation you used on the design. Matching them up gives them a completely different look. Perfect for brightening up someone's day. I love them. I didn't use the Christmas theme, but probably will before the month is over. I need generic cards that can be customized as I need them. I made a whole bunch of "sentiment flags" that I will keep in the bag with the cards. They can also work as just a note card without a sentiment. Sheetload of Cards July 2022

Lovely cards nylene. I like the color combo on these cards. At first I thought they are Christmas cards, just a few swaps. I will make another set and use a big poinsettia just like you did as the focal point.

I think my poinsettia dies will be the right size. Great minds think alike, right? LOL

I made some Christmas cards. I didn't plan to make them all different, that was an accident. But I was also working with already cut down paper so I had to adjust the cutting slightly. I actually found a couple of adjustments in the CT videos that I might try later, but I was pretty happy with these. The sentiment fit nicely in that oval which surprised me. I ended up centering the oval most of the time. http://instagr.am/p/Cfrul-oPYwC The changes I would make are trimming the matting like azcrafty said, butting up the triangles instead of leaving a line between them, and using 6x6" paper for the triangles and switching the backing piece for plain cardstock or dry embossed cardstock (which I saw Mint Twist cards do - she has a video too). http://instagr.am/p/CfjP6HXpmsV

I used the SLoC to make some cards for the summer 2peas card exchange:

My first SLOC...still need to assemble the rest. I generally don't mass produce my cards, but do a mini-production of 3-4 cards at one time. Doing 12 at once is a challenge for me (I struggled with that for the card swaps too). Using up an older paper kit from CTHM that is gray, silver (which doesn't show well in the picutes), red and white. I never managed to incorporate it a scrapbooking layout.

joblackford, I love your cards. The Christmas prints are all so pretty and look great together. I love that sentiment in the oval. Just perfect. I really like the other cards you posted with the plain background too. I may try that idea too. MichyM, I didn't really like this month's design either until I saw what others did with it. I'm sure I will use this again. Ryann, your summer cards are so cute. I love the cacti, and other cute embellishments. Your fellow Peas will love them. cmpeter, your Christmas cards are beautiful. The red, white and grey together give them an elegant look. I love the vellum piece between the card and sentiment. Great touch.

I'm so happy to see so many of you making cards with this month's SheetLoad. Yes, I have to agree with MichyM, this was not my favorite sketch either, but seeing all the different cards, might give it a try again. Maybe try joblackford idea with the 6x6 pp. joblackford your cards are very cute and love your bold sentiment on the oval shape. Its perfect! And really like the black stripped pp. Ryann your cards are so cheerful its perfect for a summer card swap. And I love how you use the ephemeras, I always learn something from you. cmpeter welcome to the club. Your first SLoC cards are super cute. Love your color combo it really creates some elegant Christmas cards. Thank you for everyone for playing and sharing your creations with us.

Your cow image is adorable. I love the pun and I love all the patterned papers you have used. They have such a down-home vibe that perfectly matches your cow. Great job!
