that you ordered online, that sat in it's bag for 2 weeks, and you finally decide to try it on because you are going to a pool party, and it actually FITS!!
I ordered a really cute swimsuit from Amazon a few weeks ago, and I have been scared to try it on because I have gained weight over the past year (that I am NOT happy about at all!). I got invited last minute to a pool party today, and I decided I better try it on because if it doesn't fit, I will have to go buy something.
Not only does it fit, but it looks good! Shocking! I hate swimsuit shopping. I am one of those people who will go into the dressing room with an armload of suits and go home with nothing. I have never bought a swimsuit online before.
Something silly that made my day. LOL

I hate shopping for a swimsuit. I'm never harder on myself than when I'm seeing every lump and bump in bright lights and three-way mirrors. ugh

Even when I was thin I hated swimsuit shopping. I am tall, long waisted, no boobs...The best thing that ever happened to me was tankinis. LOL But even then, I hated swimsuit shopping.

Nice! I agree, you should go play the lottery.  I have a funny swimsuit story also... 100 years ago when my ds was an infant I signed us up for one of those Mommy & Me swim classes. But I had no suit. And there was NO way I was going to go try on swimsuits with ds in tow. So I told dh that the second he got home that evening I was heading to the mall to try to find one. He came home at 6:00, I went right out the door, drove five minutes up to the mall, parked near the entrance to Penneys, went straight in to the bathing suits, grabbed a few, tried them, found the perfect one, and was paying by 6:30. hahahahahaha I had expected that it would take hours to find one. Well after being home alone all day with ds I was not about to go back home that quickly. So I bought a magazine, bought coffee, and had a lovely time for an hour or so. lol Went back home and moaned to dh about how hard it is to find a bathing suit.  |

Instead of linking to the page that shows your orders, click on the swimsuit so it brings up just that individual page on Amazon, then link us to that.

I agree buy a lottery ticket. That has never happened to me (that I found a suit that I liked, that fit well, and that looked good) even when I was very thin. And now…not a chance. 😉

Something silly that made my day. LOL Yay for you! Does anyone actually enjoy buying swimsuits, no matter what their size? Hardly anybody likes how they look, even if they have a bod that everyone else weeps for. I share your happiness. I lost a breast last year (how careless!) which makes swimsuit-shopping significantly more limited. Imagine my joy when I found a tankini with pockets for a prosthesis not only in my size, but in my colours too. I christened it last weekend at a spa hotel with my bestie. It fits! It looks great! The only problem was the bubble pool - I hadn't anticipated literally blowing up like Harry Potter's Aunt Marge.  It's a good thing I brought my sense of humour with me and shared it with everyone else! Have a wonderful time at the pool party. |

Love this ! I, too, ordered a very similar suit from Amazon, if not that same one. Slightly different print. Mine fit and looked great too. Swim, swim and then swim some more. 😊

Oh, I also wanted to say I found a suit that I loved by mail too. I never ever feel ok in a swim suit and this one changed me. It's from Bare Necessities.
It's a good year for us!
