I have a little square of flannel material that I got at my very first Creative Memories party I went to at my BFFs house. It was to wipe the finger prints off the pictures when you were done. I use that thing every time I scrap.
I was super mad at my then BF that day who had spent some money on dumb shit. I thought a little retaliation new hobby would show him who's boss. LOL. Here I am like 25 YEARS later....

Probably my Tonic Studios mini guillotine trimmer. I haven't been scrapbooking for decades like many on the board so my stuff is a little more recent.

I have a CM circle cutter. I don’t know why I keep it, it’s so hard to use. It’s the one with the glass square and the plastic guide that doesn’t stay put so my circles aren’t always round. I also have a very old Fiskars roller that makes corrugated paper. It got it around the same time as the circle cutter, late 90s.

My Creative Memories scissors that I got for going to a party at my future Sister-in-law's house back in 2000.
I really didn't want to go to the party. Didn't think I had much to scrapbook about since I had no kids, wasn't married yet, etc....hahahahahahaha!!!! Oh boy...I ended up buying one of the CM kits that was over $200 and that led me down the path where I am today. A dedicated scraproom & lots of $$ invested in supplies and tools, discovering online communities & inspiration, etc. I'm so glad I went to that party!!

that freaking MM hammer is the best! that may actually be one of my oldest tools. that and the Tim Holtz ruler. that ruler has been used so much that the numbers are rubbing off.

My Mrs Grossman’s tweezers and scissors that came in a little pouch with a tub of powder for altering and de-sticking stickers. The pouch and powder are long gone but the tweezers and stickers are at least 22 years old.
Older than that would be my 8.5x11” Pebbles in My Pocket three ring albums. I bought those in 1994.

I still have my original deco scissors. I have the Big Red Sizzix die cut machine I won at a GASC layout contest in 2001. I have a fiskars trimmer that I got back in the late 90s.

CM scissors, corner rounder and circle cutting system with self healing mat. Still use them all. This is exactly me too. I’ve had them since the late 90s/early 2000s.

I *just* used my Stampin' Up tearing edge, which I got back in, goodness, 2009? I also regularly use one of my old deco scissors. Still in my stash but not used as often: Creative Memories small blue guillotine trimmer and square punch.

As a digital scrapper, the only tool I use is Photoshop. But if I think about the scrapbooking styles and actions that I have bought over the years, the oldest one would be Drop Shadows, which I use on every single page. Also a set called Just the Basics which includes glossy epoxy, which I use on almost every page to make 'Nuvo dots' and other elements. If I still did paper scrapping, my oldest tools would be my Fiskars paper trimmer, CM corner rounder, and my cutting mat.

I still have a CM circle cutter I purchased in the late 90's. Fiskars trimmers, deco scissors & Canson art paper also from the 90's.
I was also into paper making in the 90's & still use all the templates & handmade papers from then.

Corner rounder, scissors and cutting tools I still have. And along the way I also gained a dedicated scrap room.

my genesis 12inch lighted trimmer. it has never needed sharpening and still cuts like buttah! I love my genesis! It’s not lighted, but it’s 16 inch and I use it almost everyday. I also have the MM toolkit, but the hammer has been missing for a while . Old cutter bee scissors and a 12” zyron machine from late 90s.

I went all in at my first CM party back in 1996. I got some kind of kit (album, refills, scissors, small blue trimmer and corner rounder). But I also got the glass circle cutting thing. I lost the scissors, but still use everything else. I was a newlywed and DH just bought a Harley, so I too was looking for a revenge hobby.

My Silent Setter. I don't know why I was so obsessed with that and the soft, colorful eyelets that went with it. I have probably only used eyelets five times total since I started scrapping in 2007. But I had to have that thing! And it's still here for some reason.

I’m not sure. Technically, it was rubber stamps, because I was a stamper before I was a scrapbooker, and my first layout was stamped.
As far as scrapbook specific tools, I think it might have been decorative scissors. There was nothing back then in my area other than Creative Memories. There were no scrapbook stores where I lived when I started scrapbooking, although one opened within a year or two.

Tonight I was using my Making Memories hammer to work-harden some wire earrings that I made, and I realized that I've had that hammer since I first started scrapbooking. I used it to hammer eyelets (of course). I started scrapbooking back in September of 2001, so I've had that hammer for almost 21 years. I think it's the oldest tool I have right now. Who's next? i would have to say my MM tool kit ( still fully functional ) as my DD broke my first fiskars rotary trimmer which would have been older.

I still have the grey letter sized self healing cutting mat by Fiskars that I bought from Walmart to make my boyfriend a scrapbook album for and anniversary gift. All my supplies for that album came from Walmart. That was back in 1998. I still have the album too. I got it when I upgraded my boyfriend to husband.

I think I might still have some of the Making Memories magnetic alpha stamps/words. I have not kept them because I like them, more because they are "vintage".

Not sure why because I never use them. I think my oldest tool is a tie between that magnetic stamp kit with handle, the Making Memories hammer/eyelet setter kit, and my Fiskars paper trimmer. It's the one that you pop in a cutter or a scoring nub into the channel of the ruler.
