Tonight I was using my Making Memories hammer to work-harden some wire earrings that I made, and I realized that I've had that hammer since I first started scrapbooking. I used it to hammer eyelets (of course). I started scrapbooking back in September of 2001, so I've had that hammer for almost 21 years. I think it's the oldest tool I have right now.
Who's next?

I would also say my MM hammer and also the hole punch and eyelet setter set. My guess is that I bought it around 2003/2004. It's held up very well.

Creative Memories small blue trimmer, got it in the late 90's at the CM party which introduced me to modern scrapbooking (I had a magnetic photo album as a teen).

Me too! I've had that hammer & eyelet set for ages. I think it was the very first tool I bought specifically for scrapping. My guess would be I've had it since 2002. It's survived a divorce, several moves, and quite a few purges. It's a great little set.

Probably my Xyron X machine. I should throw it away. I have given up on finding refills. I've found much cheaper double sided tape that does the job but isn't as convenient.

I think it might be my purple Fiskars trimmer.

I don't know what it is officially called. I call it my paper piercer. It's longer than and slightly thicker than a sewing needle, and it is pointy on one end and I use it to poke a tiny hole in the paper, prior to putting a brad through the paper. It is at least 23+ years old.

probably my Xyron X as well. refugeepea - I can't always find the repositionable (my preference) but I can usually get the permanent refills at HL (yes, I know - not everyone shops there for good reason but it's my only local option)

I think mine is my original Silhouette Cameo. My husband got it for me for Christmas in either 2011 or 2012. It still works, although the Silhouette Studio program doesn’t run as well on my laptop as it used to.

The hammer plus the Basic Grey filing set. Remember using naked chipboard and patterned papers to make your own embellishments and then you filed the sides nice and smooth?

Indicative of my linear style, the first, oldest, & most frequently-used tool I have is an inexpensive clear t-square ruler! :nerd:

I'm not certain - but it would be either "old Gray" (original Fiskars personal trimmer) or a Creative Memories corner rounder. I started scraping in the early 90's - so a lot of my stuff is old!

Without digging around, I would say my Coluzzle off the top of my head. I remember getting that as one of my early tools when I started scrapbooking in 1999.

Creative Memories pair of scissors. I went to a party to do a page and got the scissors for the price of admission. Still love them.

I have the CM circle cutting system and corner rounder, both of which I put to work fairly often. If you are asking what I HAVE, rather than what I use, I also have a set of fancy scissors in a wood stand, a 7 Gypsies ATC carousel, and my beloved Xyron Wishblade, which was the grandmother of the Silhouette Cameo.

CM square punch and the circle cutter. Bought both at my first CM party, and that’s what got me started on scrapbooking.

I'm going to say my deco scissors, which I still use semi-regularly. I've also got a CM corner rounder and the circle and ovals cutting guides.

It's probably my MM eyelet setter, followed by my Quickutz Evolution. I still use them both.

Probably my Fiskars cutting mat - about 8.5x11, it used to be clear but is sort of gray now, like me. I also have a Coluzzle, but I was late to the party in buying one so it's not as old as the cutting mat.

I have that MM toolkit too. 😄 I most recently used it on DD in December for eyelets (I got the WRMK eyelet tool, but can’t get it to not crush the eyelets no matter what I do). I got it in 2004.
Predating that I have the CM circle cutting set and the CM small guillotine cutter (my daughter keeps it with her supplies now).

I have a pair of cutterbee scissors and some CM tools (corner rounder, circle & oval cutting system) since 2002/2003.

I have all of the Making Memories tools somewhere but the tool I use the most from that kit is the paper piercer. I use it all of the time.
That kit was so handy. I can't imagine how many of them they sold.
