Has anyone had success with using the ink sprays with stencils?
I usually unscrew the cap and flick the excess on layouts, cards, tags.
Was wondering if using a paint brush to paint in the open areas of the stencil would work?
Or how far away I should mist?
Any tips? I have a nice collection of them and would like to use them for other projects too.

Here's a video of Julie from Balzer designs using water-colours with a paint brush with her stencils. It looks pretty straightforward - just apply paint. youtu.be/6zOf-Kz7yAcI haven't tried it myself, but I have seen Tim Holtz spray Distress Spray through a stencil, and it was beautiful. It was a poinsettia stencil, just so pretty. I can't find that video, but I did find this one where he teaches people how to use sprays, go to 37:24 to see: youtu.be/GRzrTA-cQfM

Had fun playing with different techniques I saw and this is my favorite (colored in the stencil with white crayon then sprites the paper with shimmer Dylusion ink spray). I actually like this technique over using a blending brush with stamping ink.

I love spraying through stencils! It creates such a fun look. I use a box for spraying that (mostly) contains the mess. Once you have sprayed all over your stencil, take another sheet of cardstock, lay it on top and pull a print. Sometimes I like the print better than the original. Here’s one example I did: youtu.be/VWNSwF1kvV0 Go to about 3:55 Or take a peek here: http://instagram.com/p/CEQwgq0Asf-
