What are the 13 year old girls loving this year? Giavanna hates anything pink, sparkly, lacy or overly girly lol.

Mine wants clothes, boots, makeup, a new curling iron, stuff for her room, and crafting stuff, or GC so she can get what she really wants Nothing too girly ( ie: sparkly/glittery). She already has a bunch of new soccer stuff since her club change affiliations this year, otherwise she would probably ask for some for Christmas. She really wants a new pair of Uggs - I wish they would go out of style, but no such luck here!

Where do you shop for her clothes? I'm guessing Justice is too baby now, what about PS Aeropostale?

She loves to read. Her tastes may be a bit immature for 13. Books like Dork Diaries, Harry Potter series, there's a autobiography of Laura Ingalls Wilder that she wants. My dd is not a girly girl except she likes pink and purple. She will wear the same shoes and clothes FOREVER.

My dd is 14 and not into super girly things either. She likes t-shirts from Fuego and jeans from Hot Topic. Her big gift this year is a piano (she's outgrown her keyboard).

My 13yo isn't super girly, as far as into pink and dresses and stuff. But she likes to wear makeup and straighten Her hair.
She likes to shop at Kohls, Forever 21 and Aeropostale. We have some consignment stores like Platos Closet that she likes to go to as well. She doesn't care about the brand of her clothes but she cares about the brand of her shoes. She wears Bear Paw boots (that I buy on Black Friday for $35), Vans, Bobs or Toms. She has some Sanuks too that I found at Ross for cheap.
She's boy crazy right now so she likes a bunch of you-tuber boys and "viners". Loves One Direction still and Taylor Swift. She is in choir so she's really into all kinds of music.
She likes to carry her cross body purse that we got in Belize a couple years ago, it's a bit funky.
That's all I can think of right now other than gift certificates for movies or Target.

13? The girls here don't wear Justice or PS after elementary school. It's all glitter anyway.
If she's still small, Delia's sells 00 jeans. The Loft has petite XXS and I know there is another store that has small sizes.
My DD is 15 and wants books, Sherlock stuff, drawing supplies and gift cards.
I'm not sure how long it is to jump the wait list, but if your DD is starting to wear makeup, Ipsy has been good for us. DD gets a lot of different eyeshadows, moisturizer, lip sticks and lip gloss, etc. it's been a fun way for her to try out creme vs powder eye shadow, marker vs pencil eye liners, etc. if not this year, then next year!

My dd will be 13 in a couple of months. She prefers regular Aeropostale over PS. Other favorite stores are Delia's and Hollister. She always loves to get gift cards because her style and interests are always so unpredictable. A starbucks tumbler filled with a gift card, lip balms, nail polish, candies, etc would be a really cute gift idea.

We shop at Delia's, Aero, Hollister, American Eagle, PINK for sweats and hoodies, Dick's for Nike or UA athletic stuff, and a little bit at Charlotte Russe or Forever 21.
Also, my DD and all of her friends love her Instax camera. They have tons of those photos in their lockers at school. She also has enjoyed monthly subs to Birchbox, Ipsy, Graze, and Phone Case of the Month.

My 13 yo DD wants a guitar, drums, a cowbell (yes really), a couple movies, concert tickets, anything One Direction or % Seconds of Summer, gift certificates for Best Buy, Forever 21, Delias, Bath & body Works, Sephora, new pointe shoes, and dance clothes. She also wants Uggs, and Starbucks.
Although she is in dance, she is far from glittery and pink. She's more of the jeans and hoodie type of girl.

I got my 14 yo a portable bluetooth speaker. It's a small, inexpensive one because she wants a shopping trip with her friends as her big gift. The big mall is over an hour away from us, so it's a big deal for her to go. She wants me to drop her off and leave her. Cracks me up and I'm cool with it because it saves me on returns after Christmas when I buy the "wrong" things.

Good to know. Justice I assumed, but didn't realize PS was out, too! She is tall and lanky, about a size 12 in girls. Would that be a small in regular stores?

This was the age gift cards became the best gift for DD as she could be dropped off at the mall and shop with friends, not needing mom to come and pay for anything she wanted to buy. Being able to shop on her own was as much the gift as getting new clothes. At 13 H&M and Forever21 were favorites, now I'd add in American Eagle, PacSun, Hot Topic, Tilly's and Quicksilver. Bath & Body Works and Sephora are also popular choices.

Delias has been mentioned twice, sounds like I need to check it out! I'll mention it a third time, dd (12) did a 180 away from Justice last year (she went from getting 90% of her clothes there to none from winter to summer). It was getting rough trying to find her clothes until we found Delia's. Unfortunately, the closest one is 3 hours away.....

My DD is 13. She isn't into very girly-girl type stuff, but she does like hair bands, pretty elastics, rings, jewllery. She has a few dresses she likes, but mostly wears leggings/shirts/big sweaters, and boots. Her faves right now are Sherlock, Doctor Who, Welcome to Nightvale, anything geeky; music faves are Belle & Sebastian, Beach House, Fleet Foxes, etc. Basically, if her 10 year old sister likes it, big sister won't listen to it. She loves tea, doing her nails. She does wear make-up but I took her for a make-over in the beginning of Oct and spent way too much on make up so I'm not buying any more for a while. For Christmas she is receiving assorted geeky pins, Welcome to Nightvale mug, Welcome to Nightvale girl scout badges, Doctor Who/Sherlock mash up art print, geeky Sir Paramecium t-shirt, geeky Sherlock t-shirt, graphic novels, other books, Doctor Who stickers, book about hand lettering, really cool wind up toy, new crayons and markers, silly putty, tickets to see Belle & Sebastian. I plan to buy a couple of outfits at Target or Forever 21. And I know everyone here loves to hate Kmart but I find really great clothing for my two oldest girls there. They both really like most of the clothing in the Selena Gomez line. And it actually holds up REALLY well.

Hot Topic has always been a hit for my kids. Most of their tee shirts come from there. Converse sneakers are a favorite of my daughters. I couldn't tell you how many pairs she's had over the years. I just ordered her a pair from 6pm She always loves fuzzy pajama pants, and I swear she is a blanket hoarder. I am looking for the softest blanket I can find. I get her or make her some kind of blanket every year. She's also getting a pair of good quality cordless headphones, good quality drawing and painting supplies, galaxy leggings, regular leggings, Supernatural tv show dvds,, Oogie boogie beanie hat, and who knows what else.

Delia's has an online store. I don't find the quality the best, but it's similar to Justice. They grow fast at this age, so don't buy anything that is too expensive. I just tried to get through a season when DD was 13. They are still finding their style at this age, so I wouldn't want to invest too much money in it if it won't be worn the next season.
I would say that a 12 girls must be about a 00 or XXS. Dd wore petites until she hit about 5''4" and petites are often cut smaller than the same size in a regular. I know Aeropostale? Hollister? Has small sizes. You could poke around a few of those sites and see what you find. DD often finds things at Marshall's, too. Really, she's an Ann Taylor/Loft kind of girl and often mixes beautiful jackets I'd wear to work with a graphic tee and skinny jeans and the whole outfit looks cute. Classy and youthful, too. Target has some nice tops as well.

We've had bad luck with Delia's - most things we purchased there fell apart after one wash/cleaning. DD13 prefers AE, H&M, Forever 21 and even Target. She likes to buy band T-shirts at Hot Topic. One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer are favorites, but she also likes Fall Out Boy, Paramore (sp?) and Panic at the Disco and a couple of others. Loves Sephora and Ulta and all kinds of shoes.
