Retails Thrift Store in Vancouver just got a huge donation of scrapping stuff. Tons and tons of Martha Stewart punches, mostly border ones, but a few shapes, nice paper packs, AC ribbon and jute rolls, TH stuff and a boatload of stamps. I think they are CTMH, but they could have been the other mlm stamp company whose name is escaping me. In any event, there are tons. Most of it was on a special end cap near the records, but there was good stuff in the craft section too. They said there was more, but they only put some out each day. The prices are not rock bottom, but they are definitely good and the money goes to our no kill shelter.
I did buy some punches and one paper pack that was all swiss dot paper. There is some really nice stuff. Also anything in the store with an orange tag is half off, I got some really good items from other departments.
In any event, if anyone is in Vancouver I highly recommend a stop if you are interested in stamps or punches. I have no affiliation, I just love this store!

Aaaarrrggghhh - I just returned home from PDX visiting both DDs! Bad timing on my part, LOL. Wonder if I could convince DD2 in Vancouver to go shop for me? ...hmmmm - worth a try, she's not into crafting but knows my taste pretty well. Skellinton, do you know if they had any washi tape? That's her one crafty weakness and maybe I could get her to go check it out for me if she knows there is new tape to be had...

I honestly don't recall, but I didn't scour the craft area as I usually do because I really should be donating, not shopping! Does she need books? They are all 49 cents right now. Records? They have TONS for I think 1.49 or 99 cents. I have gotten some really good LPs there. How about a church pew? They had one of those today! Seriously, if she likes thrifting she should check them out. I hope you had a good time visiting, it is really a nice city to visit. Hope you had some good eats too, I love when people come visit because then I can take them out to eat. We have so many yummy places here.

She has no way to play LPs but her sister (in Portland) does and it'd be a great gift...I'll let her know about this, thanks! I didn't actually spend much time in Vancouver this time around, as I was visiting older DD & son-in-law in Portland who just had a baby. I stayed at their house to help with my granddaughter so we didn't get out much, LOL. BUT, we did go to a great little outdoor BBQ place in/near their neighborhood (Arbor Lodge, I think). I always eat well when I'm there!

The books are typically 99 cents, but they are overflowing right now so they are all 49. I hope if she swings by she finds something good for you.

Thanks, Skellinton! I messaged DD2 about this place...now I have to hope she doesn't just decide to adopt a new cat instead, LOL... Haha, I know she won't actually do that (smallish apartment with 1 cat, 1 roommate and roommate's dog already taking up plenty of space), but she'll be tempted!

Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to go either.

Any chance there 50 dies are in the trunk of your car on their way to my house??? Ha! If only! I was just so surprised they had so many and they were still there. I didn't even look at them to see what ones they were or the price because I don't own a manual die cutter. They had the black and pink big shot too, but holy cow, that thing is huge!

I also found a new store called Reclaim PDX that had tons of scrapping stuff. Paper was 25 cents a sheet, so not rock bottom prices, but they had old Sassafras and a very few pieces of OA and some cute Halloween Pebbles paper. Along with a bunch of other older lines that were cute but did not come home with me. They had tons of embellishments as well, but I didn't have time to look through those.
