knock on wood - my household hasn't gotten it either - I thought we might have when first DH got sick and then I did - but multiple negative tests each and it seems to be a bad cold. He is vaccinated, I'm vaccinated and twice boostered, DD is vaccinated and once boostered. But DD and I mask everytime we leave the house. DH not so much

My DH and I haven’t had Covid but I have been super careful for over 2 years. However, my mum came over on Wednesday, I spent the afternoon with her. She was coughing so I tested her and it showed an immediate positive. So now I’m playing a waiting game! I think pretty much everyone else I know has had Covid!

I haven’t. Neither has any of my immediate family. The people I know irl who keep saying everybody is going to get it eventually are the people who go everywhere and anywhere and don’t wear masks. They have had it a few times already. I only go where I absolutely have to and I never stopped wearing a mask.

So far, my husband, daughter and I. DD and I basically never leave the house other than for the odd doctor or lab appointment. DH goes out more, and I know he doesn't mask up all the time like I do (only when inside). We are all fully immunized and boosted. We have family coming to visit next month... they aren't vaccinated, all recently had Covid... bet we get sick when they leave, sadly.

not all that many people in the St. Louis area wear masks from what I've seen... we're wearing masks at work, but that's a workplace requirement, not a county or city requirement, IIRC. My DH and I aren't really limiting where we're going at all, and haven't gotten COVID yet. Well, besides my DH having it in Dec. 2020- and that was very clearly from a co-worker who came to work sick (she KNEW she had symptoms & she had just gotten tested, but still came to work- ugh). We're both double-vaxxed but no boosters.

I haven’t had it as far as I know. I’ve had what I believe were a couple of colds because I tested negative (PCR) and the symptoms didn’t quite line up with what most seem to experience. Went out and got a second booster yesterday regardless.

No one in our household (3 people) have gotten Covid yet (knock on wood, and yes, I did just do that ) Also no one in my parent's household (3 people) has gotten it either, they live 15 minutes away.

My dd19 had it in January but the rest of us were able to avoid it. DD17 had it 3 weeks before Easter. The eldest had gone back to school then so there were only the 3 of us in the house. But DH and I managed to miss it again. So far so good, although I"m sure it will happen eventually. We are about to have our second booster.

I haven’t tested positive, but in Feb. 2020 DH and I were at WDW and we both got sick at end of trip for two days. I still had symptoms a few weeks later after COVID became big news. I went to prompt care and they asked about travel and also took a chest x-ray…all seemed clear. There was no test then so I don’t really know if I had it.
I have a fair few health issues so I’m glad I can work from home. I don’t go out unless I really have to and always wear a mask.

Husband and I have avoided it so far, but that might be about to change thanks to our thoughtless neighbour. Hubby got a call to go next door and help out with a mechanical problem which he did. As he was leaving neighbour said "I've been isolating all week with covid". No mention of it when he rang earlier 🤬. Hubby didn't have a mask on because we know them so well and never dreamed they'd put someone at risk of exposure like that.

None of my family has had it. So our daughter, my husband and myself have at this point avoided it.

Somehow, despite my DH working in healthcare we have managed to stay covid free <knock on wood>. My oldest and her DH both had it & we were with them continuously, still negative. I hope I haven't jinxed us now.

No covid for me, I did have "something" but the docs think it was a strain of unknown flu

I haven’t had it yet. I’ve been scrupulously isolating since March 2020 for other major health reasons. I’m also getting vaccinated monthly. I have 3 auto immune diseases & have no titers 2 weeks after vaccination.

I haven’t had it. In our household, only DH had covid, but no one else tested positive. DH was sick for a few days then off work for about another week due to work quarantine requirements, but fortunately no one else got it. He had already gotten his first booster a few months before he got sick.

My 10 yo dd has tested positive twice. Both times I had her sleep with me so I could monitor her. I haven’t tested positive but hard to believe as close as I have been to her that I haven’t had it. 🤷♀️

As far as I know we have not had it since knowing Covid was a thing. Our daughters entire school(50 or so kids) had “the flu” back in Dec 2019/Jan 2020 and looking back it had the telltale signs of Covid. DD got in Jan 2022 but no else did, DS21’s girlfriend has had it twice and he hasn’t gotten it even though they live together. DS26’s coworkers have all had it between once and 3 times and he hasn’t gotten it even when working side by side for 15 hour shifts. I did have something about 6-8 weeks ago, just a sore throat and a cough from post nasal drip, took 3 rapid tests(different brands) and all were negative so we chalked it up to a cold. It could have been Covid but it’s also the time of year I usually get a cold so who knows. I felt crummy for 2 days but not enough to stay in bed. DS20 had the same thing but all tests were negative. But now I’m hearing the home tests don’t work on the new variant so I have no real idea if we really had it.

I'd like to point out that just because someone has caught covid, that doesn't necessarily mean they did something "wrong". Not having caught covid does not mean that you are doing things "right". People who take no precautions are here saying they have never had it, while people who have taken every precaution have caught it. Sometimes it truly is luck.

Me. I do live alone and have been up-to-date on all the vaccines and booster shots. I still mask at times where there are a lot of people, but I really don't do peopley stuff.
I do on-line shopping and do drive-up pick-up for most of my shopping.
I have been randomly selected for Covid-19 testing at the border and before surgeries and all have been negative.

I haven't had it yet. I have been very careful w who I hang out w and where I go.
I was a self proclaimed hermit before covid so not much has changed lol
I will also agree w the post above...it is luck of the draw.

Technically, as in PCR tests, I haven't had it.
PCP said I have 'plenty of antibodies' in June. Last booster was December so I guess I could have had it? Only thing that makes sense to me but I am not a doctor.

I feel better now, but I lost my dense of smell in the last hour or so. It is very weird

No one in my tiny little circle has had it. We are all multiple vaxxed and until fairly recently, always wore masks. We all worked or were in environments with many people.
