So far so good for me. I'm fully vaccinated (J&J then double Moderna boosters). DS had covid when the Omicron variant was initially running through (fully vaccinated at the time) but was only sick a couple of days (very mild symptoms, tested negative in 3 days). He was still living with me and I avoided it. I'm still WFH so that's helped a lot. I have friends who haven't been so lucky, most of them teachers. Currently, one coworker had to extend his family vacation in Canada (wife is from there and they have a summer house there) by a week because he tested positive. Another coworker's DD tested positive Sunday and he has been feeling like crap all week but so far not positive. A third coworker's DD tested positive Tuesday and he tested positive Thursday. A fourth coworker and one of her family members, as well as a fifth coworker, also tested positive Thursday. We're all WFH and don't even live near each other so it wasn't work contact. BF's two oldest granddaughters were supposed to come down from KS earlier this week to spend some time here before they start school next week. The eldest, 10, tested positive Sunday so the trip was canceled. Four of my BFFs just got back from a week in CO (girls trip before summer ends, all but one in the group are teachers). I'll be avoiding them for the next week or so like the plague, probably longer since they'll be getting exposed to middle school kid germs soon.

I chose not to respond to this thread when it was first posted because I didn’t want to “jinx” myself. Well as of Thursday that changed. Ugh. I’m having a bad time of it. So far my only vital sign that is normal is my O2 sat. Thank goodness. Enjoy your health!
