I hope the candidates win in those states. However, I think it’s still too early to be optimistic. It’s easy for voters to say those issues matter to them in a generic poll. Will they still matter in November? And more importantly, when looking at actual candidates, will they vote the same? And will those issues be more important than the economy? And looking at the classroom question, I think that can be interpreted different ways. Do voters think teaching SEL or diversity, equity and inclusion is age appropriate? Or have they been drinking the conservative Kool-Aid and think books should be banned, teachers shouldn’t say gay, teachers are trying to indoctrinate kids, teachers are teaching CRT etc?

On Election Day there are two choices and just two choices. The majority of voters will either vote for the democracy or they will vote against it.
If they vote against it will be one more nail in the coffin of that experiment the Framers started all those years ago.
This election isn’t about issues it’s about saving the country. These last 48 hours show where this country is headed if the voters don’t stop it now.

At the moment Mandela Barnes is polling ahead of Ron Johnson in Wisconsin for Senate. Not sure about Where Charles Booker is v Rand Paul. But with Paul's performance yesterday Barnes should be stomping... Fetterman is ahead of Oz in Pennsylvania .

Was standing in the kitchen listening to the TV.. just another ad for big Pharma.
Republicans all yelling and stomping their feet about the cost of gas that many people use in their vehicles every day. But have nothing to say about a life preserving drug, insulin, that must be used every day by millions of people including their constituents!!

Considering how many people in these areas don’t even know what January 6th was and think former actually won I have little hope that they will wake up and vote against this. They think all this stuff is a hoax and just politics they believe what they are told snd think anything contrary is just fake news. Covid, election, climate change. All fear but all I see when I listen to anything on Fox or from one of these politicians is fear tactics but at the same time they say don’t live in fear. Hypocritical

I'm not rude enough to do so, but I am sorely tempted to send this to somebody who actually insulted me because I wouldn't vote for Trump. Not surprisingly, this was a not-very-bright person who didn't even graduate high school.

He really isn’t the brightest 💡 on the block is he? Look where this country was at in August 2020. Exactly we were still in the thick of Covid in. 2020. It was not a good year for many Americans. Restaurants and many small businesses are coming back. Rarely see empty shelves. Items I haven’t seen in a few years are back on the shelves. Lots of new businesses are opening here. There was still so much unknown in August 2020 waiting for vaccines and such. Tons of people sick and in the hospitals. Way too many people dying. So many people out of work. Supply chain was a nightmare. We didn’t get together as a family because of Covid snd lost my FIL to Covid in December. Schools were online. People working from home. No not better at all. Even with inflation and gas and energy prices we are much happier. Seeing lots of people traveling and living normally.

You know, a while back our local Maga fan club was hanging out on our freeway overpasses waving defaced American flags, MAGA flags and signs that said "Trump was right".
I sure would love it if our local Democrats do the same thing this weekend and wave some UNdefaced American flags with signs that say "Hillary was right!"

Polio was found in upstate NY, and now it’s been found in NYC’s wastewater. It will likely continue to spread. If your kids haven’t been vaccinated, might be a good time to consider it. This is a terrible disease.

One might not agree with everything they do, but the Democrats do try and get things done that benefit all Americans whether some Americans realize it or not.

I feel bad for Democrats and President Biden. All of their accomplishments in the last 2 weeks have been overshadowed by Trump and his documents. The Inflation Reduction act, the CHIPS and PACT bills are all major accomplishments. The Democrats should be taking a victory lap but again all of the focus is on Trump. Ever since the 2016 primaries, he just sucks all of the oxygen out of the room.

Didn’t Trump or his family also use a private server for their government email? I’m thinking there was some mention of that to a while ago. I don’t remember the details but remember something about it snd thinking really after what you put Hillary through and continue to do. Apparently now Giuliani is going on snd on that this is nothing compared to what Hillary did she was so much worse.
I’m tired of the but they did it to but curious about the server thing.

If this was an ordinary week, lower inflation, lower gas prices, the jobs report and all of the Democratic accomplishments would be center stage in the news.
Just wanted to share the letter from my congressman. He sent this out with pictures of him at different places in our state, including 2 manufacturing plants. He’s a young guy, he just seems really genuine, down to earth and passionate about helping people. I think this is his first term. Unfortunately, because of gerrymandering, it might be his last. Both of our districts were competitive, but more Democrats won in the last 20 years. The Republicans in the state house took a wet spaghetti noodle and threw it on the map. Now we have 1 Democratic district and my district is most likely a Republican one.
This past week was another busy one. From visiting local manufacturers and meeting with veterans in New Hampshire, to passing the Inflation Reduction Act, I’ve been hard at work for Granite Staters. Ahead of the weekend, here’s an update on my week:
Lowering energy costs, health care costs, and prescription drug costs
As I speak to Granite Staters across the First District, nothing is more critical than the need for us to take action to address kitchen table issues and lower everyday costs - and that's why I voted to pass the Inflation Reduction Act today.
I’ve spoken with seniors who have delayed retirement due to high drug costs and families who have had to share prescriptions, ration doses, or cut pills in half because they can’t afford life-saving medications. I’ve met with families who are worried about how they’ll afford heating oil this fall. And I’ve seen firsthand how climate change is impacting not just our environment, but our way of life in New Hampshire through rising temperatures, increased flooding, and stronger storms that have damaged our infrastructure.
This legislation takes on the big drug companies to cap prescription drug costs and extends important tax credits to lower health care premiums. It will lower energy costs and ensure we can achieve energy independence while also reducing our emissions. And while we take these important steps forward, this legislation will also reduce our deficit and fight inflation.
Investing in American manufacturing
This week I had the chance to visit two New Hampshire manufacturers - Micross in Manchester and onsemi in Hudson.
These conversations with local businesses and manufacturers in New Hampshire have made clear that the CHIPS and Science Act, which was signed into law earlier this week, is game-changing legislation that will pay dividends for years to come. These investments will directly support New Hampshire’s manufacturing sector, and by accelerating the production of semiconductor chips and investing in science and technology we will also strengthen our supply chains while lowering costs for our families and small businesses.
I’ve been fighting to pass this landmark law because of the economic boost it will bring to New Hampshire, and I will continue working to ensure our communities see the full benefits of this legislation.
Expanding care for toxic-exposed veterans
On Wednesday, I joined New Hampshire veterans in celebrating the signing of the Honoring Our PACT Act, comprehensive legislation to finally address toxic exposure as a cost of war.
It’s well past time that we take action to get our veterans the care and support they need and have earned. This legislation will provide meaningful support for millions of veterans across the country who live with the effects of toxic exposures to this day, including veterans from the First District who were denied benefits by VA even after being exposed to dangerous toxins during their service.
The PACT Act also included my VA Workforce Investment and Expansion Act, which will expand VA’s workforce and strengthen veteran access to quality VA health care. To ensure they can all access the care they have earned we must also invest in VA’s workforce and strengthen VA’s ability to recruit and retain highly-skilled staff.
Defending health care access at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard
This week I led members of the New Hampshire and Maine congressional delegations in requesting a briefing from the Department of Defense regarding its restructuring plans for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard’s Naval Branch Health Clinic.
The PNSY outpatient clinic is the foundation for convenient, quality health care for thousands of active-duty servicemembers’ families, military retirees, and military retiree families. But a proposed plan may force more than half of the clinic's patients to seek care elsewhere. I oppose this plan and will keep working to ensure no one loses access to the outpatient services they need.
As your elected representative, I promise to continue fighting for you in Congress. Next week will be another busy one, so make sure to stay up to date by following along on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I hope everyone has a safe and restful weekend.

Her job was not the border. Her job was to work with Central American countries to find solutions to stop folks from leaving their country to come to ours.
Border security falls under Homeland Security and yes they are two different things.
The rest of his babble makes no sense.
