Two? How can you say no! There are fur balls needing homes! Don’t deny your DH. 🤣🥰 Honestly? I’d always recommend two kittens vs one. Unlike puppies, two is not really more work (*maybe* 1.25x more while two puppies are at least 4x more work than one), and they still will bond closely to people while being great playmates and companions for each other. Of course, everything is twice as expensive but having had three pairs of kittens in my lifetime and 2 singles, the pairs were happier (and more fun for us). We've always had kittens in pairs, which has been awesome, but I never really thought about how much better off they are when paired, I just looked at it as Dh always falling hard for two. I can't believe I'm on the verge of falling into the Pea Enabler Patch again.

LOL Two at a time is magical! I love them in pairs interacting with each other. We leave our crew of 3 for up to 5 days at a time, could probably stretch it to 7. 2-3 litter boxes, multiple bowls of food, multiple water bowls, leave the toilets open too. It's a mess to clean up when we get back because those boxes are FULL. BUT we make it work. I don't know anyone nearby who I trust enough to come to the house. LOL! This is starting to sound like you don't have my back on this issue. And you're making me a little weak. Maybe there aren't kittens where I live. Must not check. Must not check. Just keep saying that. Yeah... that's it... there's no kittens near you.... we'll go with that. LOL
