I haven't really paid attention to Cocoa Vanilla until a few months ago, and now I'm in love with them. I'm wondering how often they come out with new lines, and if they usually have an Autumn release and a Christmas release. From what I can tell they don't do themed releases like Halloween (except for Christmas). Any idea what to look forward to for the rest of 2022 from them?

I have also recently discovered Cocoa Vanilla, and I am in love!
I am not sure how many collections come out a year, maybe 3 or 4? The company is based in Australia, so that is probably why there has not been a Halloween themed line. From what I have read here, Halloween is big in the States as opposed to other countries around the world (we must change this, everyone deserves spooky fun and free candy!)
I have 2 of Cocoa Vanilla's previous Christmas collections, and I love them. They tend to have a brighter color palette and adorable animals everywhere.

Cocoa Vanilla does have Christmas lines and I would say they remind me of Pink Fresh with colors and patterns. The two are very similar to me. Non traditional colors and patterns. I have last years and love it.
There is no fall release that I can recall. There have been some summer lines like Sun kissed and Hello sunshine.
There is also the more boy leaning lines and girl leaning lines. But the great thing about the more boy leaning line is that it can be used for girls. I have used No Limits for pocket pages for dd.
I think there are typically 3-4 lines a year. Boy, girl, summer, Christmas.

I love their boy lines! So nice and I agree, No Limits was very good for nongendered pages. I have 3 of their boy lines and love them, love them, love them. When I first found them ACOT didn't carry them so I had to buy it directly from them in Australia. I remember I ordered a bunch in early March 2020, and then the world shut down. It was shipped within two days, but... It took me a month to get the package, the box was incredibly beat up but the stuff in the box was fine. Did I mention I love their stuff?

Love their boy and summer lines. The holiday ones are pretty, but a little too pastel for me personally. I like that they’re different from most of the traditional holiday lines. The owner or designer, Zoe, also designs digital collections. I think you can find them at sweet shoppe designs.

Thanks everyone. I am not sure how many collections come out a year, maybe 3 or 4? The company is based in Australia, so that is probably why there has not been a Halloween themed line. From what I have read here, Halloween is big in the States as opposed to other countries around the world (we must change this, everyone deserves spooky fun and free candy!) I wondered if Halloween was popular in Australia. My son goes to university in Japan and said it's starting to get a bit popular there, but just among young people, like university students. It's still barely on the radar over all, though. He said he will make it his mission to spread Halloween to his classmates this year - deck out the dorm in Halloween stuff, etc. One of the other students brought a big dinosaur costume with him so he's all set! So it seems like we might get 1-2 collections this year from Cocoa Vanilla, one of them most likely being a Fall line. Edited to add: I meant a Christmas line, not a Fall line. But maybe not lol

I'm a massive fan of them, definitely one of my favourite companies.
They've only put out 3 Christmas lines in the seven or eight years they've been around, and there was a massive gap between the first two, although Zoe has released one for the last two years. I assume if they sold well she'll do another one this year, but I wouldn't say it's guaranteed. She used to release two lines a year pretty consistently, but it looks like it might now be three so I'm hopeful there will be one more to come.
Halloween is definitely not a big thing here although retailers are trying to make it one. And while we definitely have autumn weather in at least some parts of the country it doesn't seem to be the apple picking/hay ride/pumpkin filled thing the US lines lead us to believe your season is.

The owner or designer, Zoe, also designs digital collections. I think you can find them at sweet shoppe designs. Thanks for that! Do you happen to know what her digital store name is? I couldn't find a Zoe at Sweet Shoppe Designs, so I assume she sells under a different name. (I don't buy much from SSD.) Cocoa Vanilla also sells digital collections. I've bought Endless Summer, Hello Sunshine, and Life Is Beautiful. I am desperately waiting for Storyteller to be released as a digital collection. I log on every day and hit refresh! Halloween was never a thing here, definitely not when I was a kid, and not even when DD (born in 1997) was a kid. It had started to become a little bit popular here when DS (born in 2004) was little. My MIL would decorate her house for Halloween, and a few other houses in her street did too. All of my nieces and nephews and their little friends would meet at my MIL's house and go Trick or Treating. There is still a lot of push back from people here, who see it as just another infiltration of American culture, and they hate it! I buy lollies and chocolate every year in case we get TOT'ers, but I haven't had anyone knock on my door for the last several years. And as for autumn scrapbook lines, our native trees are evergreen, so "fall" isn't really a thing. There are some areas that have deciduous trees, but they are in the minority. Autumn here is either very green (trees) or very brown (dry grass after summer). I was so excited when I discovered that CVS did digital collections. I am looking forward to seeing Christmas collections in nice summery bright or pastel colours, instead of dull traditional colours that do not suit a summer Christmas.

AussieMeg and anyone else after the newer lines in digi: Zoe posted a message in the fb group a couple of years ago saying she did not plan to release any further lines as digi collections, a copy of the post is attached. It looks like the newest of the collections available was from a 2016 line (although I don't have any Colour Me Happy left in my stash with branding strips so not sure if that one is newer). That's the bad news. The good news for those wanting Storyteller is that it was a collab with Traci Reed drawing on two of her collections which are available in digi. You can find those here: My Story Matters kit and Time to Thrive kit

Thanks for that Chinagirl828 . You're so good at enabling me, I mean finding lovely stuff for me to buy! I'm going to purchase Time To Thrive. I'm really quite confused by the statement you attached. "Unfortunately, due to the actions of a few, we will not be offering any further collections for digital release at this time." There are hundreds if not thousands of digital designers all over the world, some of whom I'm sure have experienced copyright theft at some stage. I'm glad that none of them have stopped designing and selling. I'm really disappointed because as soon as you introduced me to CVS, I knew (thought) they would become my favourite store. I hope they reconsider.

I said Fall line up above, but meant Christmas. I realize Sept-Nov isn't fall weather in Australia, but would Australia not get fall weather in March-May? Or there is just no changing of the seasons? I always thought at least some parts of the country got snow, so I assumed that would be preceded by a fall season in those states and territories, but maybe not.
My son is moving to Canberra in February so I guess he'll be able to fill me in lol.

I realize Sept-Nov isn't fall weather in Australia, but would Australia not get fall weather in March-May? Or there is just no changing of the seasons? I mentioned in an earlier post that Australian native trees are evergreen, so we don't get the traditional fall colours that you do up there. Sure, there are some areas where they have planted non-native deciduous trees, but for the most part, autumn is full of green trees - just like summer, winter and spring! To be honest it's one of the things I love most about here, having green trees in winter instead of drab leafless grey trees. The first two months of autumn for me (March and April) are enjoying the last of the beach weather. The last month of autumn (May) starts getting colder. And I'm in the second coldest state in the country. In the northern part of the country, they don't have four seasons, they only have two - wet season and dry season. The temperature is 31-34 C (88-93 F) all year round. The only difference is the amount of rain. Yes we do have snow, but only on the mountains in the alpine region, and only in the three south east states. And that concludes my Australian climate lesson for the day! All that to say, fall colours are not at all relevant to me. My son is moving to Canberra in February so I guess he'll be able to fill me in lol. Oh cool! What will he be doing for work? (Or is it top secret hahaha!)

I always thought at least some parts of the country got snow, so I assumed that would be preceded by a fall season in those states and territories, but maybe not. Autumn is March-May here, although it's a large country so, like the US, some parts of it don't really have autumn, just hot and humid, and then not so hot and not so humid. We definitely experience autumn here in Victoria, but as AussieMeg mentioned upthread our native trees are evergreen. We have pockets of both the city and the state that have deciduous trees, but my suburb, which is about 20 mins from the city centre and about 2.5 hours from the snow, is filled with eucalyptus, wattle, and bottle brush trees, all of which stay green through autumn and winter. So the traditional yellow/orange/red/brown autumn lines don't really fit what we see, which is why I imagine the autumn line that came out last year (These Days) was a reasonably soft colour palette and more home focused.

This is what I imagine Southern California is like, too, although I've never been. Deciduous trees are depressing in the winter, although their fall colours are spectacular, and they make you want to hike and wear cozy sweaters and go apple picking, so I guess it's a trade-off. I'd trade it all for Palm trees, though. Oh cool! What will he be doing for work? (Or is it top secret hahaha!) He is going to attend Australian National University for a year. He is currently studying in Japan, and the program he is in sends the students to Canberra for their third year. It's a 9 hour flight from Osaka (where he studies) to Canberra, as opposed to 21 hours from where I live (Canada) - but I'm still hoping to go visit him next summer.

I am inland near mountains. Oak Glen is gorgeous in the fall. Not as grand as back east but still lots of fall colors. Our tree leaves fall and many in my neighborhood turn brown, red, and orange. We get Santa Ana winds and cooler Temps. Also heat at times too. My area has also gotten snow a few times. Not a ton but enough to build a nice snowman. It really depends on where in Southern Ca you go.
