I wonder if that guy who spent $50,000 on tickets for his employees for Tuesday won anything?

I wonder if that guy who spent $50,000 on tickets for his employees for Tuesday won anything? just saw an article on that.. thinking not much of any. But he is buying another set for his employees. *** Let's lay it out there: You lost," he said of the lottery ticket scheme. "You spent $100,000 on tickets and you lost and you're going to do it again? Why not give them money, give $200,000 to your employees?" "You know, we actually gave over $200 million in increases over the last two years," he replied. "Look, this is really more than about money. this is about, like, having fun."Kumaran also noted that giving $200,000 to 50,000 employees would only amount to $4 per person, which he said was "not going to go a long way" toward helping them.www.rawstory.com/lottery-tickets/

I bought a ticket for Tuesday night and I’ll buy another for Friday’s drawing. I rarely ever play the lottery, but I want to be in on this one just for the fun of it.

I already have the winner! Only $1.025 billion. I bet it’ll go up again before the numbers are called Friday night. But don’t you want us to buy so the pot will get even bigger? 😄

I don’t need a billion dollars. I’d have to get security and all. Start wearing makeup. Things like that. A few million would do me just fine.

I like playing the lottery on occasion, It's fun to day dream about winning. I'll spend $20 on that, or more at a theater. It's entertainment dollars. I would love to play, but I don't have time to leave the state to buy a ticket before the drawing on Friday.
Good luck to everyone. And if no one wins, maybe I'll take a run at it next tuesday.

I really wish we could buy tickets online. Why do I have to schlepp inside a gas station for a chance at a billion dollars? I want my chance from the comfort of my couch.

I want to buy some tickets - I’ve never bought one how does this one work? Do you pick numbers?

I want to buy some tickets - I’ve never bought one how does this one work? Do you pick numbers? You can have the computer pick random numbers for you, or you can pick your own. You pick 5 numbers plus the bonus. To win the big prize, you have to pick all 6 numbers. There are lesser prizes, with the smallest prize being just the bonus number. It is $2 a ticket. When you go to buy a ticket, make sure you say "Mega Millions" so they don't sell you a ticket for the Super Lotto or the Power Ball (I am assuming you are in California, which I think you are). Good luck!

I do want to buy a ticket this time. I didn't realize it was as high as it was when we got Slurpees on Monday otherwise I would have bought one for Tuesday. I have 2 rules when I play the lottery.
1. Jackpot is at least half a billion dollars. 2. I buy a single ticket.
IMO, the $2 is more a cover charge for participation in the societal ritual / event of "what would you do if you actually won." And you can't actually win, if you don't play. I have no illusion about actually winning. And as previously mentioned, we all spend far more on other types of silly stuff on a more frequent basis.

We have ours! I would love to walk through grocery stores handing money out, as well as to some struggling families finding it difficult to purchase back to school supplies and clothing. For teachers needing extra supplies and a makeover in their class. I would likely adopt the elementary school our son teaches in.

I'm in an office pool - I believe the entire office participated, the building manager and some staff plus the Xerox tech who happened to be in the office yesterday. LOL One of the admins had a vision that we were going to win. She saw all of us in a picture holding a big check. <3

There’s a gas station across the road from our subdivision…I think I’ll stop in and pick up a few tickets today. I haven’t played the lottery in years.
I have a dream of being able to start an organization that helps pet owners pay for lifesaving care for their pets. 🙂

I bought mine yesterday. Just for fun -- the dream doesn't count if there isn't a 1/350,000,000 chance for it to come true.
DH bought in to the office pool. He doesn't want to be the only one left if they win and all quit.

I love that with the exception of the shower IN the bedroom? I would have to dig into my funds and change that up! hahaha That garage is to die for ... my hubby would live in it.

That is odd, the shower placement. And you can see the bathtub too behind it. Then the next photo, you see a reflection of the shower in the bathroom mirrors. I wonder if the entire bathroom is commingled with the bedroom?!

The shower and bathroom are very odd but what a gorgeous view. My husband would love that garage as he wants our next house to have a large building for model trains.
ETA I just watched the video and wow they even have zip lines across the lake - taking quads out on the trails would be fun to. It looks like there might be another house on the property as well. It says 5 bedrooms but they only show the one. I wish they showed the rest of the rooms. I love the bar in the hanger.
