Another gift help question: PB flip-out lap desk knockoff?

DD would like a desk like this for Christmas, but I don't want to spend $50 on it! Has anyone seen a lap desk similar to this? Oldest dd got one for Christmas several years ago, but it was a gift and I don't know where the giver found it. Any ideas?
