Ugh! I keep having a recurring problem with my laptop and Shutterfly. It won't let me log in. It just returns to the log-in over and over. I have tried clearing cookies and restarting my computer, which works sometimes, but not yesterday. I know DD did something more last time she helped. I'll have to pay more attention.
I can order my photos from my tablet, but it's easier on the laptop. Drat.

August is a busy month for me as is Sept. I started off August 1st with totally ass kicking Covid and so this first week is a blur. I am vaccinated and boosted so this must be a killer strain I picked up at CKC.
Have an annual trip to Texas coming up, a wedding to attend and my regular ice skating and other activities. All of these are photo worthy events so my scrapping continues a rapid descent into a black hole of never catching up.

I have been mega busy with family and garden this past couple of weeks. I am excited to be able to print the pic's tomorrow, and then hopefully have some time next week to put some of them on pages. mikklynn, I hope you get your electronic issues streightened out. Dh has been having trouble getting his iPhone and iPad sync'd so his app's all work on both. Really frustrating. Please look after yourself, myboysnme! From what I have heard, if you don't take the rest you need now, your body will force you to rest later. Other than the Covid, what else did you pick up at CKC? Speaking of catching up, I need to put a bunch of cards together STAT! Maybe Sunday... |

I hear you about the photo worthy events. I uploaded hundreds of pictures from my phone to my pc yesterday and was overwhelmed by how many pictures I want to scrap compared to how much time I've had to scrap lately. Fortunately for me, September will be less busy than August so I'll be able to schedule some scrap time. I've been extremely busy and overscheduled lately but I think Sunday will be my day for scrapping. I'm going to try to catch up on the Allison Davis sketch for this week and hopefully get started on next week's. So many pictures so little time. |

Happy to report that I finished my WITL album, then promptly decided to do a mini overhaul of my scrap space. Parts weren't working for me so I moved some stuff out and around and I think it'll be better. Finally got to sit down and try and scrapbook last night and I think I pushed supplies around my paper for a good 1/2 hour before I walked away. Feels like I forgot how to do a regular page it's been so long! I think I'll have to pull up a sketch and try that way to get back into the groove.

I updated the Shutterfly app on my tablet and now it's pretty easy to order and edit photos! In fact, easier than on my laptop. So, yay! I have photos ordered.

I hate to do it, but I think I am going to cancel my FJ kits. I have so much stuff accumulated that I need to use up.
I just love getting the box every month, darn it!

Congrats on your reorganized scraproom, needtime2scrap. Did you get your mojo going? I find that using my organizing brain can really shut down the creative side: that's why I so rarely organize--or clean up my scraproom lOL. Links to lots of sketches HERE, and SKETCHtember will be underway before we know it. Glad you got the photo app working again for you, mikklynn. I love getting new stuff regularly, too, but I quit my subs quite awhile ago. So much in any given kit just lies there, waiting for me to see some kind of use for it. I still manage to spend money and get new stuff, but now it is more likely to be something I will either use right away or put away lovingly knowing I will have fun with it later. I scrap in fits and starts, and this month I had a couple of sessions--one with a friend and one on my own--where I actually got a bunch of pages put together. Pic's from visit by dgk's to the farm sparked one session, and getting pages ready for kids coming later this month sparked the other. I need to put together some September birthday cards and am hoping I actually play with my Spellbinders hot foil system I have had since right after Christmas with autumn leaves plates that just arrived a week ago. Have some other stuff to do today, but maybe later... |

Got a couple of dgk's here this weekend just turned 9 and almost 11. Torn between just enjoying the quiet as they play with their dad's old toys in the basement or getting them up and fed and outside so I can take some action photos for my scrapbook LOL. (Don't worry. I have already snapped some pic's of them in the middle of the FP Little People village they set up as soon as they arrived.)

I'm so excited! I'm headed to Crafts Direct with a friend this morning. It's a crafting superstore about an hour away. I actually need a few things, even though I have more papercrafting supplies than I can use in a lifetime.
ETA - I had so much fun seeing products in person. I haven't been in an actual scrapbook store since before the pandemic. I also scored a few fall decor items, which I can never resist.
