I'm in a full. When DH was alive I we had a queen. But I have downsized.

Dh and I sleep in a Queen bed. Dh wanted a king but our room isn’t that big and we have never been uncomfortable in the Queen. I roll from side to side but don’t move around much. I just sleep in one small sliver of the bed. Dh doesn’t much, either.

I sleep in a Queen ... I'm single and really only use one side of it still (after being married for 24 years) ... I did sleep in dd's twin for a couple of nights recently while new carpet was being put down in my bedroom and it wasn't that bad ... I obviously don't move much I slept in a twin at DS's house and was fine. I was surprised how little I move.

We sleep in a queen. The way our bedroom is configured, we couldn't fit a king + 2 nightstands

I don’t really think we have Queen size in the Uk 🤔 Single, double, king is what I’m familiar with. We have a king 😊

we have a king -for two people and some combination of cats (typically 2-3).
Our kids had singles growing up - we bought full/double beds for the guest rooms (bigger really wouldn't fit). DS30 had a twin bed until he moved out of the barracks into an apartment at 27 - he got a double then. (he's 6'3"). DD22 took her single bed with her when she moved out last year...not sure if she plans to upgrade or not. DD15 is still in a twin.

My house is quite small, but my bedroom is huge! We have a king size bed for a couple of reasons. First the room looked odd with our original queen because the room is so big. Second, Dh sleeps with a big body pillow -that we call his girlfriend 😆. And lastly, it turns out we are not good cover sharers. Well, Dh isn't a good cover sharer, he hangs on to the top of his blanket, so when he turns he takes the whole blanket with him and ends up wrapped up like a burrito, and I have no covers. We each have a separate twin sized comforter, and that format doesn't work very well in a smaller bed. Made up, our bed looks like a bed in Germany.

We just bought a king after 30 years in a queen. DH is too tall for a queen and his knees would always hang over the edge. I'm a restless sleeper and in the king I don't feel like I'm disturbing him as much when I toss and turn.

We have a King…our split King. I actually miss our older queen as I feel we are too far away from each other to snuggle and with the split, it’s not as comfortable to both sleep on the same side of the bed.

It's funny that a single is too small when if you were sharing a double or queen with someone you'd have less space than on a single. If you were sharing a king with someone since it's the size of 2 singles.

King. But ds went thru a stage where I ended up sleeping in his bed and he slept with dh 🙄🙄 so I spent too many nights in a twin bed. It was fine but I’m a small person, I also don’t like to be touched when I’m sleeping (hence the king bed 😆).

At my apartment I have a Full.
I sleep at my boyfriend's house most nights and he has a Queen. We cuddle when we sleep, so we could probably get by just fine with a Full at his house.
When I visit my mom or son, I end up sleeping on a Twin and have no problems with that.

I sleep in a Queen - DH, me and the tiny dog. When we have a King on vacation I feel so far away. I have a irrational need to touch DH when I sleep - even if it's just my foot against his calf and with a King he feels so far away.
I slept on a twin growing up and a full when we first got married, but a Queen is definitely the right size for us.

We have a king. Neither of us are cuddlers so we need lots of space. I like to stretch out. Plus, our 70 pound lab sleeps with us. After my foot surgery a month ago I couldn’t do stairs so I slept on the couch for a week! I was so happy to get back to my bed.

We have a Queen, more or less by default. Our bedroom isn’t big enough for a King and everything else we need ton fit into it.

I have a split California king. It's a brand new Sleep number bed and I just love it. Dh has his side and I have my side and we can adjust our individual firmness as well as the head and foot. Love it.
pjaye , a twin is a single. There is an extra long twin, typically used it dorm rooms. Then we have a double bed, 2 people can fit, but it's a tight fit. Next is a queen, probably same as yours and king is the biggest. We also have California kings that a bit bigger than a regular king. I'm short and dh is sort of tall, but I take up a zip code, cause I sprawl. So, a Ca. king is great. We also have the Sleep Number split California King bed with the adjustable base. We’ve had it for close to 20 years and it is still extremely comfortable. We love it and will definitely buy another when and if this one finally bites the dust.

King for me and my DH and our small dog. We just traveled and had to sleep on a full for 5 nights in an airbnb and it was HORRIBLE. I hope you get some rest!

We have a king sized bed. DH and I, plus whatever dogs want up on the bed. Usually it is at least 3 of them.

We have a Queen. We've always had bedrooms that could fit a king, in term of room dimensions, but not in terms of the layout of the room.
Like right now, the bedroom door and the closet door are on the same wall, and between them is exactly enough space for a Queen bed. Every other wall has a window in or near the middle of the wall, making it so that even a Queen would have to block a window---unless we put the bed at a diagonal in a corner, but I don't really want to do that.
The bedroom we had before that was quite long, but narrow, so in order for each of us to have even a small bedside table, we couldn't have anything larger than a queen. And so on.

I sleep on a couch. I don't care about the size of the mattress if it's just me. I care more about the quality.

In the UK our mattress is called a King. I looked it up and you folks call it a Queen. We only upgraded our mattress this year. Before that we had a Singaporean Queen, which is what you call a Short Queen or RV Queen. Same base. I used this to convert: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bed_size#

King. DH is very tall and I’m an active sleeper. We don’t sleep well in a smaller bed when we travel.

For many years, when I was single, I had a queen. Then when I needed to get a new mattress I ended up getting a whole new bed, and opted for a king. My apartment had a large bedroom. I tended to sleep smack in the middle.
When we got married and we built our house, we configured the windows in the master bedroom, which is pretty big, to fit with the bed that I already had. We were both used to having space and generally didn’t touch when sleeping. But I never had any trouble with being able to reach out and touch him. Maybe because, as he said, I continued to sleep in the middle. 🙃. Not exactly true, but it was a running joke with us. Now, with him gone, I still sleep in the king, but I have the TV remotes, the fan remote, the remote to control the head and foot, etc, on the bed where he used to be.
The guest room has a queen bed in it, as that’s what my husband had after he and his first wife divorced.

We sleep in a short queen very common in rv’s , it’s ok but the day we buy a house( probably in a couple of years ) we get a king again.

DH and I sleep in a queen. A king is too big for our room (plus we don't need that much sleeping space)

A queen, we don't have a very large bedroom... It's a sleep number bed and I swear DH sleeps with his side completely deflated which is kind of annoying if I get too close to the middle... otherwise it's a fine size for us.
We had a King while on vacation and it felt like DH was in a different time zone.
Our RV has a full size (didn't realize it wasn't a queen until after we bought it) which is OK, but one side is against the wall, so DH has to climb over me to get off the bed... We put an IKEA mattress in there, and use regular sheets, so I don't think it's any shorter than a normal full size bed.

AussieMeg(bold mine) There used to be that size here called a 3/4 bed. Between a twin and double/full that was the same length 75" as a twin and double/full.

I have a full size but that wasn’t an option in the poll. Same for me.
