I have pens, markers, brush pens etc I’m not talking specialty sets those are stored in their package in mixed media. ( my DD’s alcohol copic markers have their own bin while I have custody of them ) My water color pens are still in the case they came in so they slip on a shelf. I’m talking about pens, felt tips, small brush markers, zig pens, micron pens, Le pens, etc They all work, any non working ones were thrown out pre move.
Prior to my move they were just stuffed in my desk drawer and random boxes I’d have to dig thru.
I once bought a pen/pencil case but when it came it really only holds the thin pens like Le pen, anything thicker and you have to skip spots to leave room. Micron are too ‘fat’. I do use this case when traveling but it’s not a practical at home storage in my opinion.
Some pens are sets & are in the case they came in others the packaging was flimsy and they are just loose.
I would like them to not be in my drawer. I’d like to keep adhesives & refills in the drawer.
Please, Hit me with photos of your pen storage as bd tell me your pen storage tips.
Thank you

I use the Organize More Pen Holders for my Copics and misc pens (white gel, black glaze, wink of stella, etc) For Tombows I have them in a plastic "shoe box" sized container with a locking lid. I rarely use these, mainly for watercoloring AI images. The same box holds the Art Impression stamps, watercolor paper, a brush and a few blocks. So it's basically a grab n go kit for watercolor. Zig Brush Markers are in their original container.

@katscrappiness posted about some clear containers that she found for her markers. Personally they were more than I would be willing to pay, but I found a similar 3-pack at Tuesday Morning for $15 and am really happy with them. Mine are only about 2.5 inches high so the size works better for me. About a week ago I saw them again at Tuesday Morning and also at TJ Max. Here is her thread: thread and the blog post where you can see them. blogI store Tombows in one, and misc pen/marker type ones in another.

Probably purchased at Marshalls, Ross or TM, where I purchase most of my clear plastic storage. I keep extra tape runner and foam squares/dots in them. Didn't even think about putting pens in them. Duh! And they stack nicely.

I don't think I will ever get rid of it, because it always comes back into my scrap space eventually (right now I'm not using it).

I have mine in cups in the top of my rolling cart.
I probably don't have as many as you.
If I can't grab them, I won't use them.

Mine is, uh, decidedly low tech. At least it was free?

I only own four Sakura Pigma Micro pens for occasional handwritten journaling. Like you, I store them horizontally in a clear, narrow drawer organizer (from Container Store) in the top drawer of my project table. For your extensive collection, check out the Total Tiffany Pen & Ink Palace & XL Pen & Ink Palace available online & at select big box craft stores, plus Muji Acrylic 5-Drawers (or similar) available online & at HomeGoods, Target, & other retailers. HTH.

I use an ikea peg board and they have these hanging open containers for it. It’s pretty good.
