Yes me too! I mostly scrap alone now and usually listed to audio books or catch up on interesting podcasts. It used to be fun to hangout and scrap with others but no one I know is into it anymore š

I like both. I have one friend in particular that I like to scrap with. It's nice to go out, and have the dedicated time to sit and work on layouts. I don't find it too distracting and I enjoy the socializing. That said, scrapbooking on my own with a video playing is pretty much my happy place. I would say the worst thing is that lately I haven't been too motivated to dive into a project, so I am not doing any scrapbooking at home. Once I get into it though, it is really nice to just have the quiet time to myself.

I go to a ton of retreats and day crops. Iāve traveled to Canada for a retreat, did a European cropping cruise this year and will go to an out of state retreat twice this year. Locally, I join both large and small retreats. Admittedly, I went a bit crazy with overbooking events since I retired. All of this really adds up. Packing is a hassle. Overnight retreats require a room share or a pricey single room. Iām not that keen in sharing a room with anyone but my hubby these days. My 2023 plan will be different. Iāll probably do a couple of travel retreats and much less local. Only my absolute favorite retreat places locally. A small group of friends and I will go to an LSS for the day that charges $20 pp to crop open to close. Maybe do this two or three times during the year. We may even visit each otherās homes and scrap for the day. Otherwise, Iāll be perfectly happy in my loft by myself working away on layouts and binging The Crown, Victoria or Harry Potter movies. I love my alone time and miss it!
