I just love breakfast. I love the idea of a round-the-world breakfast tour! At home during the week I either have a smoothie or greek yogurt with honey and fruit. On the weekends I might bake something or make pancakes or waffles. At restaurants I like a western omelet with rye toast or huevos rancheros made with poached eggs. I love poached eggs - I don't like crispy edges on egg whites. But I never make them at home.

Something quick early in the morning. A hard boiled egg, or a banana with a bit of peanut butter. I don’t like to eat much until about noon, so I do enjoy brunch. For brunch, I like an omelette and a couple of blueberry pancakes. Crisp fried mush with syrup would be a special treat.

Home:
Bowl of cereal or oatmeal and two pieces of sausages.
Restaurant: Eggs Benedict hands down. In Denver there is a chain called Sam's #3 (they are ALL called #3) lol.. They have the best Eggs Beney I have ever had. They in general have terrific food.
Good Biscuits/gravy is a second.
Bacon!

Ooh, that's hard to say because I like food and trying new things.
Home: avocado toast with an egg over easy and hot sauce. Farmer's casserole (https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/farmer-s-casserole/) with fruit. Waffles or pancakes with bacon or sausage and fruit. Really, practically anything that isn't cold cereal. LOL.
Restaurant: whatever I'm in the mood for or looks delicious. Restaurant meals are when I like to try new foods.

At home usually dippy eggs with toast. At a restaurant, a decadent French toast. A place by us has a bread pudding French toast topped with strawberries and whipped cream. OMG. However if I'm eating breakfast out and am in the mood for savory, I will go for eggs benedict. A few months ago we were in Vegas for our 30th anniversary and ordered room service. OMG the eggs benedict were the best I'd ever had. Sadly the hotel, while really nice, wasn't for us, so I probably won't have those eggs benedict again.

At home: English muffin with peanut butter or if I’m feeling fancy avocado toast with a fried egg
At a restaurant: veggie omelette, love those!

My at home favourite everyday breakfast is a fruit smoothie. My favourite weekend breakfast is either eggs benny with a side of sliced avocado and mimosas, or corn flakes topped bourbon french toast. DH and I both make really good breakfasts and we're kind of breakfast snobs so we rarely go out, but when we do, I usually get oatmeal and a half grapefruit. Unless we're at the french bakery down the street, then I get a croissant (theirs are out of this world).

I haven't heard that phrase in a good minute. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) As for me... I can't eat super early in the morning. Coffee with milk and sugar? Absolutely. Just can't stomach food early in the morning, though. However, on Saturdays, we alternate between breakfast sandwiches on bagels (eggs, cheese, and an unhealthy amount of bacon) and biscuits and gravy. Like deafpea, if we're out somewhere for breakfast, I definitely mull over the menu, but usually wind up finding something with bacon that suits me.

at home anything I don't have to really spend time on is best lol
breakfast sammich with egg/bacon/cheese is always 1000% great.
Out at a restaurant if they have Belgian waffles I'm getting that without a doubt.

I don't eat breakfast,,, but my favorite at home breakfast would be eggs and bacon. Although I do love some pancakes!
I just ate breakfast out yesterday- it was our last day of vacation and on our way out of town we ate at a cafe. I had 2 scrambled eggs, bacon, and a biscuit with a lot of butter and some jelly (so good!).

ahh, breakfast is wonderful. I'd rather go out to breakfast than any other meal. Mostly because I don't like cooking it because it absolutely makes a mess in the kitchen and uses way too many pots and pans.
at home: breakfast potatoes (not frozen), refried beans, bacon and a cheese omelet with tortillas and home made salsa
at a restaurant: crispy hash browns, scrambled eggs, sausage and sour dough toast or a short stack on the side

I don't eat breakfast most days, but when I do and I'm by myself I like to make either breakfast potatoes with over easy eggs or shirred eggs with toast. I won't turn down a good egg casserole though (but prefer one made with bread, not hash browns). I love biscuits and gravy, but we usually have those for dinner.
At a restaurant it depends on where we go. My two favorites are at two different restaurants--one is over easy eggs and Sante Fe Grits, and the other is basically a loaded hashbrown dish with overeasy eggs. Basically anything with eggs, I love eggs!

And I don't like eggs but I loved dippy eggs ![](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) . At home I don't usually eat breakfast but sometimes steel cut oats with blueberries or a blueberry and spinach smoothie. If we eat out for breakfast I go for the Belgium waffle or crepes. Or chocolate chip or cinnamon pancakes (Bob Evans has the best!!!)

When I was working, breakfast was always something quick and easy - I always said I had to be able to just pour it into a bowl or drop it in the toaster.
Now that I’m retired, I rarely eat breakfast at home, so I don’t know that I have a favorite.
I do, however, LOVE breakfast out, so I am always up for that. Although I love French toast, I usually end up opting for savory. Most of the time I’ll get a skillet, with some kind of potato in it, scrambled eggs, meat, cheese, etc. If they have it, I’ll choose a country fried steak skillet most of the time. Sometimes I’ll opt for biscuits and gravy

Greek yogurt with a tablespoon of granola is my daily breakfast.
My restaurant breakfast is either oatmeal or two eggs over easy and hash browns.
If I could eat anything I want, my fantasy breakfast is a chocolate chip Belgian waffle with whipped cream, crepes, or lobster Benedict. I just put on five pounds writing that.

When I first get up about 6am, only coffee. Strong brewed with a splash of milk. (I do put my two scoops of collagen in my first cup.)
By myself at home, I don’t eat until around 11-11:30. It’s often plain Greek yogurt, blueberries, protein granola, and a drizzle of local honey. But because of the time, it might also be a salad.
When the family is here, I make big breakfasts. A breakfast casserole or French toast are favorites.
