Or things you keep "just because" and never use? Maybe you're waiting for the perfect layout or you're too attached to it to use them? Or quite honestly it's just TOO PRETTY to put onto anything?? I'm definitely guilty of that lol I have a chipboard piece from MMEs jubilee wild berry I keep around because it's suspiciously close to the logo of a band I listen to & had been using the logo for years prior to the collection release. Makes me laugh whenever I come across it and I'm thinking "..who else was listening to pop punk in 2014 when this collection came out?? ". If I scrapbooked concerts I would have definitely bought a bunch to use. But I mean, c'mon.. these are awfully similar... 🤔

I keep a set of ancient Mary Engelbreit stamps, they are foam and rubber, circa maybe 1995? They were the first stamp set I ever owed and I loved them. While I don't really use them anymore, I'll never get rid of them because they remind me how excited I was when I discovered papercrafting.

That looks like a straight up copy! I bet the chipboard designer liked that band too.

YES - all the time. I need to purge some things but currently I am able to contain it in one semi- organized room so I keep it hoping to remember to use when the perfect layout comes around! This weekend I challenged myself to use up some old sticker sheets and I really liked the way the layout came out. I hope to do more of that in the future. It's kinda fun to pull out older items and use them up!

Urgh, too good to use syndrome sucks. I have enough paper to last a lifetime, but there are still things I'm reluctant to cut into. They're just so pretty. Have to keep telling myself that a project in hand is worth more than a million possibilities. Sometimes it helps.

What is weird? I have stuff I've had for years because it looked neat. Now it doesn't look as neat, but it is still to neat to part with. I need a bigger space.

Not weird, but I have a couple papers with a bigger sized saying-quote across it. I love the saying-quote, but I don't use those kind of "built in quote" type papers on my layouts. I like the saying-quote and I like seeing that paper when I sort through my miscellaneous papers. I won't ever use it....it just sits there in my stash.

I have a small piece of bubble wrap tucked away because it has heart shaped bubbles! It's too cute, and also perfect for mixed media. I've never seen heart shaped bubble wrap before or since so I have to keep it, right? Even though I don't do mixed media... (I should probably give it to someone who will use it to make beautiful art).

Oh my goodness, a thousand times yes to this question. I have one sheet of K&Co vellum that has a vintage newspaper print on it that I’ve been saving since 2005. Just waiting for the theoretical perfect project that I never get to…

Joblackford, oh my, heart-shaped bubble wrap! I have a piece of plain ol' bubble wrap in my stamp box; it does make a nice pattern. But boy, I think maybe we could make millions if we made bubble wrap with different shaped bubbles. Like the hearts, maybe stars, hexagons. And market to vendors like ACOT with cherry shaped bubble wrap. Mickey Mouse bubble wrap!

They have some pretty cool stuff over there.

I think the weird things I keep in my craft room are the random items I pick up from trips to use in a scrapbook. I like including unique items from my travels in my layouts.
So, based off of that, I have small bags of beach sand for future shaker pockets, small and flat rocks from our wedding venue, a small jar of dirt from the baseball diamond at Wrigley field... all sorts of things. I try to collect a lot of items so I have options while creating layouts.
I also have a small stash of Pokemon cards to use on layouts, the kiddos are very into it (and let's be honest, so am I! Pokemon was my childhood.)
Edit: I thought of something else! I have the confetti that was shot up into the air during a Backstreet Boys concert. I collect everything, ha!

I have so many things like that stashed away into ziplocs with like.. "date/whatever it is" written on them that I haven't gotten around to doing anything with. Including a jar of shells and feathers we found during a lake picnic that I think "one of these days.." whenever I see it. But that day will probably never come because I've already scrapped those photos

I have casino chips from Atlantic City where my husband had his bachelor party. I wanted to use them in the album but for some reason decided against it.

Ash from Mt St Helen when it erupted.
I’m sure I had a really good plan for it but I’m not sure what it is/was.
