I just had cataract surgery three weeks ago and am having a hard time seeing close up to scrap. I won't be able to get new glasses for at least a month. Is there some sort of magnifying glass anyone can recommend. I have a crop coming up in a few weeks and I want to actually be able to see to scrap. Thanks.

Ott lite does have a table lamp with a magnifier on it. Actually, after looking it up, I see there are numerous options. Not sure if that would help or not. linklinklinkThis is just a few. There were others also.

I have a handsfree magnifier - it's on a cord that goes around my neck and has 'feet' that lean against my chest so it's horizontal. I use it for cross stitching (or I did before I got my new glasses) - OTT sells an LED one that's very similar

Or perhaps consider close up reading glasses? My husband uses those for work, because he needs to keep his hands free, and has no space for anything extra on his desk. Even one attached to an Ott light might be a bit annoying.
Regardless of what you choose, I hope you recover quickly, find what you need, and enjoy your upcoming crop!

I have this lamp. I bought it after my eye surgeries. It wouldn’t work for general work—the focal point is just too finicky to work on a layout or something like that. But it does do a good job with task lighting and handwork. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UW2H1Z8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1Honestly, nothing worked when I was between eye surgeries. I mostly read on my iPad (in the largest font possible!) or just played games. And listened to audio books. I could zoom in and it was about all that I could see.

I never found anything that worked for as large of an area as 12 x 12. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UW2H1Z8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1Honestly, nothing worked when I was between eye surgeries.
