She was a professional photographer before her marriage...many years ago. He was an electrical engineer and did woodworking as a hobby. His career had them live in South Africa for about 7 years and then in Russia (when it was USSR) for a year or so. I don't think the family could go to Russia with him.
She died about 10 years ago. He now lives several states away, near his daughter, in an assisted living apartment. He is age 92.

I'm way too far away for pick-up, or else I'd probably be tempted! I'd want to buy books with the contingency that they didn't smell like smoke or mustiness, though.  |
