My daughter-in-law visited this week and discovered my semi-Project Life albums. She loved them and has become a complete addict overnight. I was able to set her up with pretty much everything she needs to get started - my huge stash finally paid off! I’d like to point her towards some You Tubers who do pocket scrapping on a smaller scale. She loves my 6 x 8 albums. Do you have any suggestions I can share with her? Thanks!!

My go to scrappers on YouTube are: Dearly dee (lots of regular pocket pl spreads, has great how to’s on making stash kits and your own tn’s etc, no kids but has pets) My little journal (heba does a pocket pl spread fairly regularly in a 6x12 size, has older kids and scraps her dog a lot) Leilani scraps (mixes pocket pl and larger spreads, has a real 80’s and 90’s vibe with how she scraps and the colours she uses, no kids but lots of travel albums and pet pages) Krystal idunate (lots of different pages in different sizes, does not do pl but has a heap of ideas and videos on dd and October daily etc, uses a variety of pocket page and more advanced or interactive layouts as well, has kids) Choux puff creations (next level interactive pages mixed in with tn sized layouts, documents pl but not in pocket pages, no kids but does travel a bit) Sabrina Poole (does pocket pl and uses a lot of stamps to make her own cards and embellishments, has kids and likes to hike) Linda loves creating (our own legal_lady from 2 peas, does weekly pl spreads using a number of kits etc) I included what the creators usually scrap or have stories about in their pl so you can try and match the creators that have a similar lifestyle or things to scrap about with your daughter in law, I love watching all of them every time they post as even if I use a different style of product or type of scrapping or have different things I scrap about I still get heaps of ideas re colours to use, stories to tell, ways to embellish, shapes to include, designs to copy etc.

lg wrote all the ones I was going to suggest. I also want to add Scrapbook My Travels. Her PL layouts are very simple and I also like her voice. Jennie Garcia is another one, her layouts are always very vibrant and she is a maximalist, she uses tons of stamping and stickers and fun things on her PL layouts. Create With Kaye is great too. I believe she does a 6x8 or 9x12 album instead of 12x12 and they are also simple and she uses stamping as well.

Victoria Marie is very clear and a genuinely good teacher. She is a good balance between new materials with some old school layering technique. She does both full page and pocket layouts. I think her pocket size is 9x12. youtube.com/user/VictoriaMarieScraps
