Before cell phones, I used to know most of my friend’s phone numbers by memory. Now, I don’t think I remember any ones phone numbers, other than immediate family. Everything is auto dialed from my phone now. How about you?

I never memorize phone numbers - and that scares me. I know DH's cell number, but none of my kids' numbers.

No. Just my kids and husband. But I can tell you my phone number and several friends' phone numbers from when I was 17.

No, I don't memorize most of the numbers I call frequently. I know my kids' numbers, my husband's number and my best friend's number because I was so slow to finally start using auto dial and then later Siri.

I never memorize phone numbers - and that scares me. I know DH's cell number, but none of my kids' numbers. this is me too. It bothers me that I have some sort of mental block with this. They've had their same cell phone numbers since they were kids, it's not like they've changed them. My gf has her phone number as part of her voicemail message that I did learn, because every time I'd call her I'd hear it "you've reached xxx-xxx-xxx" . Otherwise no.

Nope, unless it's a number that's the same as before I started using a cell phone regularly. I know my dad's number because he somehow got their old landline number that I grew up with switched to his cell phone. I know dh's because he's had the number forever and I have to fill it in on forms often. I know the main number for my office and I know my doctor's office as I've had the same doctor forever and it's easy to remember (ends in 1234). If I really think about it I can sometimes remember my sister's and dd's. But even that's pretty iffy. I always have a bit of a bad mom feeling when someone asks me dd's number and I have to look it up to be certain.

No, I don’t know hardly anyone’s numbers anymore. My kids’ and my sister’s numbers, only because I’ve known them so long they’re imprinted on my brain. My mom has had her “new” home phone for 10 years now but I never learned it. However, I do remember my best friend from high school’s parents’ print shop phone number.

Nope. I don’t even know my son’s number lol
DH’s is the only one I know and that’s only because we’ve had them for 23 years and only the last digit of our numbers are different.

I tend to know and recognise the last 3 or 4 numbers but no, I don’t, apart from Dh’s which was the first mobile we ever had between us 😁

Just my landline at home, I’d be in a ton of trouble if I lost my cell. On the other hand my 4yr old DGS knows the numbers for his mom, dad and me.

I know DS’s number, but only because I have recently filled out a lot of disability forms for him, and I had to write it so many times that it’s stayed. I don’t know DD’s number, nor her wife's. But like others, I can recall numbers from decades ago. I can also remember the registration number of the car driven by my neighbour in 1978. 😄

I only know my husbands by memory.
My cell phone number is very easy to remember. If I shared it, I’m sure most of you would remember it. I am frequently asked if I paid extra for it when I do have to give it out.

I know my own landline (the phone is unplugged, we just need it for internet), my own mobile, my stbx mobile and my dad's home phone number. I don't know anyone else's without auto dialling. I can, however, remember a relative's telephone number from when I was a young child and proud to be given the honour of being able to answer there phone (I used to repeat the telephone number to the caller, can you remember that being a thing?)

I couldn’t dial my husband’s cell number from memory but I could call my childhood best friend’s house number in a heartbeat.
The last phone number I memorized was my old boss’ cell because I had to write it down frequently.

nope. I don't even know my DH's cell phone number; I have to have it written down in a safe place at work, in case I ever forget my phone at home- otherwise I wouldn't be able to call him to let him know I forgot my phone, lol!
but I still remember my high school boyfriend's home phone number- go figure!

Not any more. I used to know a lot of numbers, friends, doctors at work, taxi, pizza etc. Now I know my own numbers and my parents, and that's it.

I know most of my most frequently called numbers by heart. DH's and mine are only one digit apart and my kids have had their numbers for a long time, so they're easy to remember too. Certain things, like most phone numbers, just easily stick in my mind. I still know both phone numbers we had from when I was growing up (the # changed at some point - don't remember why)...but yet can't remember other important $hit that I actually need to know, LOL.

I am kinda old fashion and due to I can't have my phone at work. I have a hand written list of all my important numbers.

I can name most of DS17's cell number because part of it repeats, can couldn't tell you any of DS14's number. I know DH's because I dialed it on our landlines for several years.
Otherwise, that's it. I barely remember the number for the church I work at and have to have it near by if I'm calling someone & need to leave a message.

I don't make any attempt to memorize new numbers and haven't in years.
DH's is probably the only cell number I have memorized.
My sister's, my BFF's parent's house and MIL's are the only landlines that are still be used that I could give to someone else without having to look them up.

No. I know mine and one of my son's (and only because it's one digit different than mine). I couldn't tell you DH's, other DS's, my parents' - nobody.

Nope! I know: My childhood #-doesn’t exist anymore My Grandparents’ #-doesn’t exist anymore Our most recent home # (that we cut years ago) My mom’s cell, dh’s cell, and my cell. Also, the town I grew up in had a number you could call for time and weather and somehow, at almost 43 years old, I still remember that. Apparently, my brain maxed out at 7 numbers and nobody else makes the cut, including dd lol!

I only know my ex-husbands (which is one digit from mine) and my parent's home phone. I could probably get my dentist office, too, because theirs is so easy.
When I went to make my DD"s cat a tag this weekend, it occurred to me that I should learn her number and my fiances in case my phone is ever dead when I need one! DD knows mine, and Paul and I actually talked about how we should put that on the growing list of things we need to do while combining households.

I just had to search the internet to check, because I thought I still remembered my grandparents' phone number (they have both long-since passed away and the house isn't even there any more), and sure enough, I still remember their home phone number, too! useless, but still taking up space in my brain.
My memory for #s, addresses, etc. is not nearly as good as it used to be. I guess because I have to remember so many passwords, and other stuff nowadays?? not sure. (or probably because I don't need to remember them, since I can either look it up on the internet, or just search 'contacts' on my phone.)

I know my DH’s (1 digit difference) and our adult DD’s. I could never remember the Land Line in this house and I was really kind of glad we got rid of it. I do guard my cell phone with my life, because I would be lost without it. Phone numbers, pictures, the calendar. Which reminds me, I really need to backup my phone. I haven’t done it in ages.
I do, however, remember my childhood phone numbers. One began with Harrison, the other Trinity. They are from over 50 years ago. I’m guessing because back then you actually had to dial the numbers. Now with a cell phone, I just go to my contacts, look for the name, and hit dial without even a glance at the actual phone number.
