Got your attention didn't I? LOL (sorry, couldn't resist) But seriously..... My husband loves cinnamon pecans. He's not had any in a while as he considers them a treat. I'd like to buy him some buuuut...are cinnamon pecans and praline pecans the same thing? Seriously I realise how ridiculous this is; but when I Google (cinnamon roasted pecans) I get listings for cinnamon pecans, candied pecans, praline pecans, toffee pecans, cinnamon toffee pecans etc. Are they all the same thing? In the pictures they don't look dissimilar. Ugh help a girl out. Hhmm I like salt and vinegar almonds, maybe I should just order them and claim a shipping error. lol

I would think they would be different. Are the type that he likes really sweet? Because a praline pecan is quite sweet.

I'm not a huge fan but to me they taste like pecans with a little cinnamon sugar on them. Sweet but not excessively so. I hate that when you Google something specific a million other things come up as well. I wanted to surprise him but I'll probably just tell him to place an order and then pay for it so he'll get the right item.lol Thanks for the replies ladies. I really appreciate it. 😊

Nope, not the same. Cinnamon pecans are, well, cinnamon-y (I know, I am a smartass)
My MIL always made what she called spiced pecans because she used brown sugar, cinnamon and some other spices like a bit of fresh ground nutmeg and a pinch of ginger.
Personally, I just love them candied with brown sugar.

I can't answer your question, but the thread title made me LOL and I had to share this. Whenever my husband goes grocery shopping with me, I'll send him off to go grab certain things. If I say "You need nuts and trail mix," he ALWAYS, without fail says, "So you want me to grab my nuts?" and just laughs like its the funniest thing ever.

So easy - first you froth some egg whites and throw the pecans in. Then you put them into the spice mixture. Then you bake them on parchment for like an hour but turning every 15 - low temp. Recipe link - so easy and great especially for holiday parties! sugar coated pecans
