Signed up for it on a whim . . . is anyone here a subscriber? Thoughts? I paid a year in advance so I'm "all in" lol
I should never shop during an insomnia event.

Oh, I was a member a couple of years ago. It started out good but the reason I canceled was due to the offerings being smaller, unneeded items. A lot of skincare. There were a couple of nice things in my early boxes. But I did enjoy it for the first year of receiving new items.
I stopped with them and went to Causebox but stopped due to the expense. AND they just had some cluster of issues at the beginning of the year. DD was a member. Canceled due to not ever receiving items.

I get it. It's kind of hit or miss for me. But every time I think I'm going to cancel, I get some perfect box, lol. It's probably not really worth the subscription price for me if I'm honest.

I got it for about 3 years. I stopped when there were just too many things they wouldn't ship to Canada. Also, it took at least a month longer to get to Canada, often 6 weeks. The season would be half over by the time the items arrived.
Some of the stuff was good but a lot of it was junk that either was broken when it arrived or broke shortly after use. I wouldn't sign up again.

I've prepaid a year as a gift for my daughters for the last couple years. They basically split the boxes and are very different people so probably about 50-75% of each box gets used by one of them. As a yearly subscriber we get the option to basically pick all the items offered which has helped immensely (and we can skip a box if it's a dud), but occasionally the offerings aren't great for us as neither of my girls are much into makeup or skin care. My oldest loves the surprise element (she doesn't know I pick everything ), but it's debatable if it's really worth the cost so I'm debating if I'll renew when the time comes.

I’ve had it for several years and do the annual subscription so I can pick all my items. I think there are less high value items but it’s still worth the cost so I keep it. I like it much better now that we can customize the entire box. I like the sales to as I like a lot if things they sell. I love spongels, coco floss, invisibobbles, sheet masks, Elemis. We have a lot of the unhide blankets snd we really like them for $15 they are a great deal. I don’t always buy a lot of beauty products as I don’t wear makeup but still find it worthwhile. It’s a fun quarterly treat to myself. This last box was probably my least favorite but still worth the money as I picked items I will use.

I have gotten it for about the last 3 years. I’ve gotten some great boxes! This fall one was a dud. Even as an annual subscriber my box is just okay and I’m not sure it was worth the cost. I frequently use the $15 off to order a seasonal box for my dd but not this time because most of the stuff is for her anyway. I don’t like getting skin care in it because I have a very set routine with products I’ve used for a long time. I don’t buy from the sales very often but this summer I ordered some sets of the Basic concepts bath items because I love them and will give some away for gifts. The price was great for $8.99. Oh, I’ve bought at least 5 Hershel totes for my dd to gift her friends because they like hers so much. Great bag at a great price!

I’ve had a yearly sub for 2 years now. I order items that I can use as gifts throughout the year. I like having birthday and housewarming gifts at the ready. Occasionally I might select a skin care item for myself, but typically I stick with housewares or accessories.

I signed up and paid for a year long subscription. I got lots of options to select products, but ended up choosing "surprise me" a lot. ?? I'm hoping for the best. I didn't realize that buying the year ahead of time allowed me to select my options. Do more things come in the box other than the six things I chose? That's no fun. I was hoping for a box arriving every few months that was a total surprise to me. I shouldn't shop in the middle of the night lolol

My sixth category this time had three items. I’m not a fan of surprises before they let you customize and they picked stuff for you it was usually stuff I wouldn’t pick. Well there were a few items that I now love like the invisibobbles and spongelles. If you have customized your box then you know you can pick surprise me and sometimes there are mystery items or bundles. I think there are mystery bundles either as boosts or refills that you can add to your subscription for an additional cost. While I don’t pick surprises it’s still a lot of fun. There are a lot of good sales to. You can add stuff to your box or they have sales in between boxes to. There is a message board there to.

To customize you need to pay attention to dates as they need to be customized during the designated customization window. They announce on their message board. IG snd in emails. If you have the app it should be there as well

I did it for a year. It was fine but never great for me. I usually ended up with several items I did not use.

It may have shown with some of the boosts or refills? Not sure what you saw but the ads I have seen looks pretty accurate as to the number of items in the box. It’s always been between 6-8 items.
