Welcome to the weekend everyone! I will be hosting Sketchtember each Saturday this month. This year I will be creating sketches from some of my favourite layouts that I have found online. My first sketch is based on a fabulous layout by our very own craftymom101 . I had a hard time narrowing down which of her amazing pages to use, and finally settled on this one: Hooray Here is the sketch:  Here is my layout:  My twist today is a Tic Tac Toe.To claim the twist, choose any three elements in a row from this board:  If you're playing with a quarterly team claim 5 points for using the sketch, one point for using the twist on any project, and a bonus of 2 points if you use the twist with this sketch. |

This one was fun too. Been great sketches so far. I had a bunch of what I think was an old Gossamer Blue kit and Some studio Calico stuff and possible stash.  |

seveerb, I love your version of this sketch. I particularly love your tag banner in the corner. So unique. Great clusters! Chinagirl828, I love what you did with the sketch. You have love in the gallery. wendy crowe, I left love for your cute school layout in the gallery. If you want your page to appear on this thread, go to your layout in the gallery and click on the arrow at the bottom right. It will give you a choice of sizes, (I use medium), made sure you have clicked the BBC at the top. Copy the link in the box and post directly into the body of your post. I was on the same wavelength as wendy crowe. I did a school layout for this challenge.  Passed

This was challenging as the photos I wanted to used were not both vertical. So I cut one down and matted them together in a block, putting the journaling area there. Great sketch! http://instagram.com/p/CiTS5_duYPv |

wendy crowe somehow I missed your page before, I've left love in the gallery. kmage the cluster of banners is so pretty with all the shades of blue, and I love how you created that block for your photos and journaling.

This was coming together nicely and then the journalling strips didn't fit and I had to move stuff and the enamel dots and nuvo dots...never look right when I scatter them...but I think I followed the sketch fairly closely and if you count the blue fishtail banner as a banner, I got tic tac toe (on the diagonal - paper strips, enamel dots, banner)  |

I love the way this one comes together! I stayed true to the banners and multiple different shape "confetti" in the clusters too. The title is The "I just can't" vibe. I realized after I was done that it kind reads, "I just can't vibe" (like I just can't dance type thing). My brain's pronunciation/emphasis didn't translate well   layout: the "I just can't" vibe by kirstendrew, on Flickr |
