Welcome to Mondays on the Move! I will be sharing the hosting duties with scrappyrabbit and we thought it would be fun to use a travel theme. Here is a bad photo of a very rough sketch.
I drew it after seeing this LO on Pinterest. It was put together by Sweet Shop Designs. I loved the way the page was divided into fours and then each of those was divided again. You can follow the links for it HERE
The Sweet Shop page will probably work better for a sample that what I came up with, but I will share mine, anyway. Mine--as usual--kinda got away on me LOL...
For the twist we are sticking with travel icons, so for this one you must add at least one ARROW to your take on this sketch.
You don't have to be on a team to play, but if you are playing along on a Q3 team, claim 5 points for using the sketch on a project, 1 point for plopping an arrow on any project, and a bonus of 2 points if the arrow is on your take to this sketch. Have fun and don't forget to share your take on this sketch in this thread.

The left side of the is #5 sketch. I was sure I couldn't do this with the smaller photos, but remembered I had made a collage of photos of axe throwing on a 5x7 that I could cut apart. It was a very fun challenge, grammadee. I love your sketch and your layout. You have love in the gallery. This is our DD's family. Axe Throwing Fun

This was a fun sketch to work with grammadee , thank you! It took me a while, because I had lots of ideas about how to use the sketch, but I couldn't find any suitable photos. I finally decided to use it for my opening page for PL 2021.

I love this sketch! I adapted it for a 5x7 photo. I'm sure I'll use your sketch again in the future. 20220907_190507 by Mikk Lynn, on Flickr

I also turned mine into a double page but the triangles didn't really work with my photos so I just used the idea of smaller quadrants within the layout.

Wow, Chinagirl828! I love how you went with the quadrants and made each of yours COUNT! So cool to feature a different group of zoo inhabitants--and visitors--in each segment! Mixing it up with vertical lines and that banner shape add to the interest, too. Thanks for playing with this sketch and giving us a completely different way to see it!

It is so much fun to see all the different takes on the same sketch! That's one of my favourite parts, all the different versions help me see the sketches in different ways.

I envisioned a "quilt" look with this sketch, and that led me to Christmas or snowflakes. But once I started creating, my snowflake triangles took a different turn. However, I'm pretty sure you can see this came from the sketch. I'm super happy to use this old Crate Paper chipboard - it's so cute and deserves a focal point. layout winter warriors by kirstendrew, on Flickr

I sketched this out for a two pager before I printed the photos! Really took my time to get the photos right for the triangles! Then searching for the right die cuts! I was a bit intimidated by this one but these photos worked well cut down small.

Thank you grammadee - this layout was pretty easy to adapt - it was finding photos that I could cut down that small that was the hard part. I tend to use 4x6s or close to that

Linda, that is a great take on the sketch. I love those cute little raccoons you added. This is a very cool layout. I love the blacks and grays to match your critters.
