I am tagging along with my DH on his business trip next week. We already have tickets for a show at the Grand Ole Opry and tickets for the Country Music Hall of Fame.
I will have a full day by myself while DH is busy, so any ideas for things to do that day would be great. I am thinking just a fun day of shopping or something, but where?
What about places to eat?
Thanks!

Will you have a car? You can drive to Franklin for a day of shopping. I was there last month with a girlfriend and she wasn’t much of a shopper but I could have spent all day there.
We had a great lunch at Hampton Social in Nashville. I had a pasta dish I still dream about! We had a fun dinner at the Twelve Thirty Club. I’d go to both of those places again.

How about a food tour or hop on hop off trolley tour? Monnell’s was fun for breakfast. You get seated at a big table with other people and they pass around platters family style. The grand ole Opry show was so much fun.

I was just there last week! The hop on/off trolley is good for seeing the city, something no one told about until we got back. I spent way too much money on uber while I was there. I enjoyed the gulch area for shopping (lots of boutiques, uncommon james store which was overpriced but cute), had dinner at the seafood restaurant in the Thompson Hotel in that area. The W hotel has a really nice rootop bar. I was at a bachelorette party so most of our activities were...ridiculous. I did enjoy the Dolly Parton White Limozeen lounge at the Graduate Hotel. It's pretty and the grapefuit and vodka cocktail was delicious.
