I like Winter Chalet a lot, but I don't really need any more winter themed paper.
I'm appreciating it from afar.

Really like that Winter Chalet looks to be white based. Will probably get it as I have been using up what I have. Which the baking one was less primary red and green but I may get one or two pieces since I make cookie boxes every year.

Winter Chalet is pretty.
Inflation nation is a hard pass.
Homemade Holiday is cute.
I am excited about the rugby collection and recently released rock climbing. I like that they're offering non traditional collections that might not have a big demand.

An entire line about inflation?! Consumerism at its best lmao
the recipe stamp from homemade holidays is cute! if I were making a recipe book or included them in my DD that would be great for it.
also like that christmas cactus one. if I lived in a desert it'd be perfect lol

I like the inflation nation line, I could scrap a few layouts with that. I love the Santa in the Christmas line, I don’t really need any more Christmas paper though. I like the winter line, that flower sheet is really pretty.
It will be interesting to see if all the other scrapbook companies will now release an inflation line, lol.

Winter Chalet - I have no need for a winter collection but I love the colour scheme and many of the papers look versatile
Inflation Nation - not something I plan to document but it seems in line with the Covid releases - not for everyone but useful for some. Not for me though
Homemade Holiays - I really like the sticker sheet - don't really need the PPs

I am interested in that recipe card stamp in the Christmas line. I am actually about to start a family recipe project and that would be perfect.
I love the Santa holding the tray of cookies. He just looks so happy!
I do enjoy the use of Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Men in the inflation line. It is nice to see some new icons being used. I may grab the money paper, only because I have a picture with Scrooge McDuck I need to scrap.

Inflation Nation strikes me as a bit MAGA. And so meta, considering the price of scrapbooking supplies has crept up, lol.

Inflation Nation: I don't usually find Photoplay papers very appealing, but can think of several uses for that money paper... the cut aparts, and stickers, not so much though.
Winter Chalet: pass

That blue floral in "Winter Chalet" is beautiful; might have to buy that one. "Inflation Nation" has a couple of papers that I could use but not the whole collection. Thanks for showing us PaperAngel.

Inflation Nation is rubbing me the wrong way. thank you! I thought it was just me... "I'm so broke..." and jokes about putting meat on layaway, yet this company is shilling inflation themed papers for people to spend $$ on. Not exactly funny.

The only joke I found actually funny in Inflation Nation was the cat/dog wearing glasses and saying they'd done the math and the family can't afford the dog/cat. The rest feels very much out of touch with both the war in Ukraine and actual struggling people who will definitely not be able to buy these fluff scrap goodies.

I had some hopes for Inflation Nation. I plan to document some of the cost increases in my PL and I thought there might be something to use, but it doesn't quite hit the right note for me.

The blue in the winter line is really pretty, and I am crazy about the black star leaf print in the homemade holidays line, I think I'll end up buying that one. There's nothing else that really appeals to me though.

Thanks for your responses. I like the color palette, not the designs, of Winter Chalet, while the classics (e.g. stripes, plaids, dots) on the reverse of many papers in the Homemade Holidays collection are usable. The sentiments & bright color scheme of Inflation Nation seem contrary to its subject. I'm not interested in the folio or Christmas/winter themed stamps, dies & stencil. Nothing from this release is added to my wish list.

The color palette of Winter Chalet is beautiful but I already have a lot of blue winter paper. Inflation Nation is a pass. I don't tend to scrap bad stuff. The money paper might be useful though. Homemade Holidays doesn't appeal to me except for the cookie paper. I do like the Kitchen Aid mixer though. There were a few stamps and stencils that I liked.

I think Inflation Nation is funny (I laughed out loud at the bear cut-apart promoting $10 hugs instead of free hugs), but its not really my style. I don't think this is any more insensitive than when companies put out COVID-related stamps and cards making light about the pandemic while people were sick and dying. If you don't find it funny or think it's insensitive, your feelings are valid and not everything is going to be for everyone, but I appreciate the humor in these tough times. Just my opinion.

I think there are a couple of differences between Inflation Nation and the Covid collections 1. Inflation is hopefully more temporary. I realize it's been ongoing for more than a year and only just now starting to show signs of slowing. But, I don't recall companies making collections about the recession in 2008. I think that would be a better comparison. 2. Inflation nation for some reason, feels more political and divisive to me than the covid collections. 3. As others pointed out, it feels insensitive because the families most impacted by inflation are not going to have the extra money to spend on somewhat frivolous stuff like scrapbook stuff. People who can easily afford extras like scrapbook supplies right now complaining the loudest about inflation screams of privilege and seems somewhat artificial, disingenuous or entitled.
I don't like it for a number of reasons and I'm OK with that, not every collection is my style. A lot of collections are too flowery or too pink for me. I do appreciate that Photoplay is branching out beyond the traditional holidays, seasons, sports, celebrations etc.

Love the colors on Winter Chalet and probably will only get a couple of sheets of Stay Cozy because I like both sides; a pack of ephemera from Inflation Nation and the Holiday sentiments stamps/dies from Say It With Stamps.
