Leaving on a work trip this morning.
Arrived at the airport - which is 45ish minutes from home - and realized as I walked toward security that I forgot to get my wallet out of my purse and put it in the tote I’m using on this trip. So I have no id, no credit card. Can’t go through security, obviously.
Called DH in a panic and he’s on his way with my wallet but my flight starts boarding in 15 minutes and he’s still 30 minutes away.
An Alaska agent said she’d walk me through security and get me a ride to the gate (because OF COURSE it’s one of the very furthest away gates), so I *might* still make it.
Wish me luck! I’m going to need it.

Oh no!! That is always my biggest fear!! Flying is so freaking stressful, especially when your flight leaves before it is even light out!

DH lost his wallet on the way to the airport in Phoenix a couple months ago. We ran straight to security, and we were able to get on the flight with no ID! They called somewhere and asked him a million security questions and let him on! I was shocked!

They called somewhere and asked him a million security questions and let him on! I was shocked! Happened to my uncle. He lost his wallet in Vegas. He was still able to get on the plane without ID. MADE IT
Last person to board (though still 12 minutes ahead of departure time).
I couldn’t find the agent who offered to help me so I was on my own. They pulled my bag and re-scanned it going through security and I almost had an aneurysm. Flat out sprinted (the best one can in Birkenstocks) to the gate.

When we flew to Yellowstone last week my kid couldn’t find his license. I was suprised how quickly he was able to get through security with some additional screening (I was convinced I’d be doing vacation on my own - he did have an expired passport)
