When I lived in No. VA, my friends and I went to GASC Chantilly for years. Then they just stopped coming. Scrapbook Expo did fill the void, but we had at least a year of no conventions. I really missed them, but at least I lived near (and worked for) a good LSS. No LSS near me now. Not that I need more scrapbooking stuff, but do you happen to know if that scrapbook store in northern VA still exists? The LSS that I was referring to was Scrapbooks Plus, which closed its doors at least 6 to 7 years ago. However, Goldenshill, is in Northern Virginia, and last I heard, was still open. Goldenshill is/was a paper arts store, more than the typical LSS, but it is an excellent store and carries many products that scrapbookers love. |
