Good morning sketchy peas! It is 1AM for me... got home from a wedding and thought I'd post this now rather than tomorrow whenever I happen to wake up...hoping it won't be until at least 9AM! After an open bar, the coffee came out about 10:30pm, and we were happy to see it as it kept us dancing a bit longer. But now I'm both tired and awake! The sketch today really caught my eye as something that looked different. I initially planned to swap in a square photo for the circle hower. 2021 Sketch May 1 by kirstendrew, on Flickr When I sat down to use it, I had a sudden "Christmas ornaments" thought, so pulled out the Christmas photos. Well - it did NOT come out as Christmas ornaments, nor as I expected at all because the size of my circles were all different! My background paper, the thickers, and the "grey" snowflakes are actually foil/hollographic but I can't capture that in a photo layout comfort and joy by kirstendrew, on Flickr The INKY twist today is to RECOLOUR an item on your page. For digi scrappers, this will be easy For us paper folk, that means taking any markers or any media you have, and changing the colour of an item you're using. I used my copics to recolour the "+ Joy" red, as I wanted to use the same font as the "Comfort" but wanted the colour different. I also recoloured a few of the small snowflakes - they were silver holographic, and I changed them to red. AND I recoloured the tile "2020"...it was red with cream numbers, so I inked the numbers black with a pen. If you are playing along on a Q3 team, claim 5 points for using the sketch on a project, 1 point for RECOLOURING any item on any project, and a bonus of 2 points if you use a RECOLOURED item with this sketch. Have fun and don't forget to share your take on this sketch in this thread.

Wow, what a great job with the sketch. I like the ones with more photos . . . I have fewer stories to tell that only include one or two photos. Circles it is, and recoloring, easy peasy, I will get out my StazOn ink to recolor thickers!

I have the perfect photos for this one, of Arthur getting a bath. I had even previously cut the rubber ducky paper into a circle but I ended up not using it (for a different layout). Not sure when I will get time, since I have an evening petsitting job tonight and then I go into the office tomorrow, and traveling the rest of the week...

Thanks for the fab sketch kitbop ! I usually only do grid style layouts for challenges, and I always have so much fun with them, I should do them more often! Here is my page:

This didn't come together for me very well and I'm not sure how much resemblance it has to the sketch but I did start there...(please don't look too closely at my stencilling...I need more practise)
