I am trying to print from my Epson PM-400 for the first time and am having problems. I downloaded the Epson app and am trying to print 6, 2x2 photos on a 4x6. I cannot figure out how to remove the borders from around the photos. I've googled this and watched a few YT videos and am still stuck. It is also printing kind of streaky. I just did a nozzle check and cleaned the print heads. It's brand new so I shouldn't have had to do this? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

The white borders… Are you using the Epson Creative print app? 1. Go to Collage 2. Choose new 3. Stop at the first screen. This page can scroll up and down, this is the page to use when you do not want any borders. I think the 4th college down in the first and second columns are the 2 inch squares. Horizonal and vertical. 4. If you swipe left, this is the page with borders. It also scrolls up and down.
I hope this makes sense.
I think i had to use the Epson Iprint app to actually print the photo that I created in the first app I mentioned. It is so late here and has been a while since i have used my printer. It did have a bit of a learning curve for me too. I also got stuck in the “how do i get rid of my white borders” situation. Somehow you can also change the photo size to 5x7 in the creative app, but tonight i cant remember how to do that.
About the streaks, not normal. You should have a print that makes you think… why in the world did i suffer through 2 canon selphy printers? Costco, target, walgreens and walmart you are no longer worthy of printing my 4x6 prints! Epson you have answered my scrappy printing prayers!!!! Maybe you have a difficult ink cartridge? If you dont start getting some clear prints please consider exchanging your printer. The epson pm-400 really is a great printer!

Clarity- thank you so much for taking the time to respond! I had to laugh at your last paragraph! I have heard so many great things about this printer and was expecting to be blown away. I got rid of the streaks but it printed darker than I was hoping. Guess I just need to play around with it some more!

I use the project life app to make and print photo collages because it's pretty easy to use, and it's the only way I could get rid of the borders.
Also, for the streaky printing-make sure you are using Epson photo paper. I tried a couple other brands and they did NOT work. Just a thought.

I find that I always have to lighten my photos before I print them, no matter what printer I'm using.

My PM 400 prints dark, I have to lighten as well. But I still love it!

I could have written almost the same thing, except I never bought the selphy printer but did try it at one retreat. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE mine!
