Posting this one just a little earlier than usual as we have a public holiday here and there's a good chance I'll forget to do it later. Another sketch from the Hip Kit Club blog this week. And my page: My twist this week is to use two of something on your project. It can be two of anything: 2 photos, 2 word title, 2 patterned papers, 2 embellishment clusters, 2 colours, make 2 cards, anything as long as there are 2 of them. On my page I've used lots of twos: a two word title, two floral clusters, two different colours of enamel hearts, and two tags. If you're playing with a quarterly team claim 5 points for using the sketch, one point for using the twist on any project, and a bonus of 2 points if you use the twist with this sketch.

Love the grid and what you did with it, Chinagirl828! Off to take a closer look in the Gallery.

I love this sketch, Chinagirl828. I hope to work on this before the month ends. Your example is beautiful. I love the foil letters you used for squares.

Here ya go, Chinagirl828. I cut up a paper that was a grid anyway to do the left page. That page has TWO photos for the twist. The facing page I just played around with the grid idea to get as many pic's as possible on there. I don't know why a person like me who struggles with cutting square corners or laying out straight lines is drawn so much to grids, but I am really happy with how this turned out. And it IS all lined up, gramma, but of course I got the photo taken a bit wonky ... Garden crew by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

Thanks for the wonderful sketch Chinagirl828 . I had a lot of fun with this one. I started three different pages. The first one was an exact replica of the sketch, with patterned paper squares. The second one was using the slide frames from Spectrum Sherbet as the squares. I finally settled on this page, using the Spectrum Sherbet palette transfers in place of the squares. So much fun!

Chinagirl828 , thank you for the challenge. I took liberties with the squares and used scribble circles that I die cut. I chose white because the photos were so full of color. Linda , thanks for the 8.5x11 version. I have pinned it for use later. Your muted colors are perfect for that photo. Love the offset mats behind it. AussieMeg , grammadee and Chinagirl828 you have love in the gallery. 50th Birthday

So... I promise I started with the sketch. I tried getting the little cards/frames to look like the shape in the sketch, but it just wasn't having it. And I love the way it ended up. If you know this family, they are a little mess/chaotic (in a fun loving way) and this layout reminds me of that. Sketchtember 22 2022 by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr
