Just sheer curiosity!
*** Thanks everyone. More of you have watches than I guessed. I’ve had mine a few days now, trying to decide whether to keep it or not. I have a phone that does most of the same stuff, but I can see it better 😆. I Decided I’d try the watch for the health features.

Yes I have one and I love it. It keeps me moving. When it won’t upgrade anymore Dad wants to buy me a new one. I think the kids will get me another one though. I seriously love it!

No. Had one for about a year, then traded it in on a new phone. While I wear a watch daily, I just didn't care for the Apple watch. A large part of the problem is that my vision isn't the best and I found it very hard to read messages, data, etc. DH, who never ever wore watches, loves his and has worn it daily for a few years since he first got one. 🤷🏼♀️ You just have to try it out I guess and see if it works for you.

Yes. It was a gift last Christmas. I know I don’t use it to its full ability though.

No. I’ve never really wanted one. But I’ve recently joined a gym center and would like to use one to keep track of my progress. Right now I use my iPhone for steps and miles. I don’t always have it on my person though.

Yes. It’s fairly new but then Garmin released a new watch that I’m considering. There are features of the new garmin and the new Apple Watch that I like so I need to compare. I originally got the Apple Watch because the battery life was better for my marathon, my old garmin dies at 5 hours with GPS running but my marathon time is 6:30.

I have a Series 5.
The three things I really like about it - (1) I like that I can see notifications from my apps (IG, mail, etc) without having to look at my phone. You can even do Apple Pay from the watch. (2) I can trigger my camera with the watch. Good for group photos. (3) The fitness/activity rings.

No. I think about it, but it’s so small that I am not sure how easy it would be to use.

nope. I have a ladies diving watch that I LOVE. I would like to get a tracker of some sort that monitors heart rate and all that stuff but it probably won't be an apple watch brand. Most likely a Garmin or fitbit. I want something that I don't have to take off at the lake, pool, shower, etc. I never take my watch off unless I'm IN the lake (don't want to lose it at the bottom!)

I feel like my Apple Watch helped divert a medical emergency. It alerted me to atrial fibrillation. I had no symptoms to let me know. I am under the care of my cardiologist now for that, and on a blood thinner to help avert a blood clot and stroke. Well worth the money for just this one instance, but I love it otherwise.

yes I've had one for about a year and a half. I never wanted one, never saw the need for it - and then my fitbit died so I decided to try it. Now I can't imagine not having it

I shower, swim, go in the steam room, sauna, and swim in the ocean with mine. And did with the last one too. No problem. As a teacher, I love that I have an easy to use timer on my wrist for when I want to work with each math group for 15 minutes, or each table group only gets 3 minutes to use the magnifying glasses with the ladybug larvae, etc. Then, when I’m not teaching, the ability to take calls on my watch without digging my phone out of my purse or backpack is great. The sound quality is so good that no one knows that I’m talking to them on my watch. You can also use it as a tap to pay device.

I have one (I had version 1 and currently have a 5-I think that's what it is) and plan to upgrade to the newest in a few days. I usually wait for the crazy at our Apple store to calm down after releases. I considered going today, but was feeling lazy and just didn't want to.

Yes, a Series 3 that I've had for a couple of years. A friend was telling me about her FitBit that receives texts and when I looked up the model, the Series 3 was only $20 more than that FitBit. It doesn't have the greatest battery life but I don't sleep in it so it's fine. I will probably upgrade in 2-3 years, mostly to get the bigger face.

Yes. I'm an Apple gal all the way. I just bought a new laptop to replace mine from 2013. 2013! That was a long time ago in computer terms. I had two Fitbits in the past, both of which just died one day and Fitbit customer "service" was a joke. How's that old saying go...? "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." So yeah, switched to the Apple Watch and have never looked back. In the time that I've owned it I've had two glitches with it. Both times the Apple Genius Bar person waved their magic wand and fixed the Watch. For free. None of this "send it back to us at your expense and also pay for the service" crap.

DH got me one for Christmas last year. I didn’t think I would care for it. I love it! I don’t need to have my phone on me all the time. I would be lost without it.

I have a SE, which I really like. I primarily use it for fitness tracking. I do read texts on it, but that’s about it. It doesn’t have its own number, so I have to have it nearish my phone to take calls, etc. I prefer to use the phone itself for most things (calls, texts, email, calculator, timer).

The Apple watches can now be worn in water. DD swims and wishes these had been an option when she was competing. About 2 weeks ago she did a 2 mile swim (how she is related to me I'll never know!) and it tracked all her splits with both meters and time.
