I want something that I don't have to take off at the lake, pool, shower, etc. I never take my watch off unless I'm IN the lake (don't want to lose it at the bottom!) The Apple watches can now be worn in water. DD swims and wishes these had been an option when she was competing. About 2 weeks ago she did a 2 mile swim (how she is related to me I'll never know!) and it tracked all her splits with both meters and time. This is awesome and 2 MILE SWIM?? OMG! A 500 m did me in when I was a swimmer and in great shape!

DH got me one a couple of years ago. I loved my Fitbit and was kind of annoyed. Plus, he got me the bigger size and I would have preferred the smaller one. I do wear it daily. I don’t love some things, like how text messages stay forever. I could delete all the texts from my phone, but need to manually delete texts, one by one from the watch.

I do! I actually have a series 1. It has pretty much bit the dust, but…. My brand new SE 2 will arrive Tuesday! I’m so excited and hoping this crazy storm(Ian), won’t cause a delay!!

I had a series 2, and then a 4, and currently have a 7. I wear it every day and sometimes I put it on even before my glasses.
I use it for all kinds of things, including the workout features. I love that I get a split second alert before my phone rings too.

No - because I hated the iPhone for the 6 months I had one. Switched to Samsung/android and love it.

She's 34 now and only been in the water consistently again for the past 3 months and is still dealing with long covid symptoms, which makes it even more impressive. Considering that I prefer a float with a drink holder for my pool time and never put my face in the water, I'm very proud of her swimming prowess!

I'll join you on a floatie with a fruity drink in hand. She can swim around us.

You can delete a whole conversation at a time by left swiping, just like on the phone. I can’t delete all texts from all conversations on my phone - only one conversation at a time - otherwise they stay forever on my phone too.

No but I want one. I wear a regular watch every day so I’m sure I would love it.

I think I’m annoyed that I can delete threads on my phone, but they remain on the watch.

I have a Garmin, which I am happy with. When I need to upgrade I will get an Apple watch, assuming I still have an iPhone at that time. I'm not tied into Apple or Android, I will buy whichever phone has the best camera at that point in time.

Yes. I wear it every day. I have a Series 2 that I passed down to my DH who never seems to wear it.
I updated to a Series 5 (cellular) awhile back. Love it.
I had an older car that didn’t have the ability to connect to a cellphone for hands free calling. (State law - it’s illegal to hold your phone and drive). Being able to take a phone call on my watch was handy.
My current auto does have the connection ability, but my DH keeps doing something to the settings so it does not always connect. I just use my watch instead. I’ve been told the sound is so good that it just sounds like I’m using my phone.

When my fitbit started going bad on me, I decided to get an Apple Watch. I love it now that I have it.

nope. I have a ladies diving watch that I LOVE. I would like to get a tracker of some sort that monitors heart rate and all that stuff but it probably won't be an apple watch brand. Most likely a Garmin or fitbit. I want something that I don't have to take off at the lake, pool, shower, etc. I never take my watch off unless I'm IN the lake (don't want to lose it at the bottom!) The new ones can be worn swimming. Or so I was told. I decided this week that I want to get one, but haven’t picked it out yet. I have a v3 and it swims in a 4’ pool well.
