I have two credits for audible books. I joined bc I was tired of waiting for Tunde’s Speak from the library. Now my trial is ending but I have these credits I don’t want to waste.
Please give me some good books you’ve listened to recently. I’m not usually a self help kinda person but it’s definitely easier to listen to than to read. All genres welcome!

I’ve got a couple that are all fiction. All are amazing Audiobooks. I listen to a bunch of audiobooks and these are my top. The first three are all by the same author, but the books are all stand alone.

I don't think Audiobooks have any different recommendations to any other books. Look up the book you want to read - then listen to the sample. If there's something in the narrators voice that really annoys you, then choose another book. I find most narrators these days are pretty good, and it's hard to get one you really can't listen to.
A lot of people like celebrity narrators, but after 1000 audiobooks, celebs are my least favourite, professional narrators do a much better job IMO. Just pick two current books from your 'to read' list because if the book isn't something you'd normally read, then an audiobook with a great narrator won't make you like it anyway.

Definitely Daisy Jones and the Six. One of my all-time favorites.

I loved Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. Almost anything narrated by Julia Whelan is good. Some of my favorites are The Witness by Nora Roberts, The Great Alone and The Four Winds by Kristen Hannah and The Measure by Nicki Erlick. Also loved 11/22/63 by Stephen King.

I recently listened to Where the Crawdads Sing and it was a good story and beautifully narrated.
Right now I’m almost done listening to my fourth Diane Chamberlain book, The House at the End of the Street, and enjoying it. All are narrated by the same woman, Susan Bennett and I like her voice and style a lot. My favourite was The Dream Daughter.

I recently listened to Where the Crawdads Sing and it was a good story and beautifully narrated. I used one credit for Where the Crawdads sing bc I know I won’t sit and read it but will probably enjoy listening while I walk. I still have one more credit to use tonight after work. Thank you, all, for the suggestions.

I just finished listening to The Storyteller by Dave Grohl. He narrates it himself and I thought it was a very enjoyable listen if you like rock music.
I also highly recommend Burnout by the Nagoski sisters. I think every woman can relate.

The Dutch House by Ann Patchett, narrated by Tom Hanks. It was like listening to an old friend tell a story.
I second any combo of Diane Chamberlaine as author and Susan Bennett as narrator. Favorites are The Stolen Marriage and The Dream Daughter.
Ready Player One is fantastic!
I absolutely LOVED The Lager Queen of Minnesota by J. Ryan Stradal and The Talented Miss Farwell by Emily Gray Tedrowe.
