Your Sunday challenges will be based on shapes. Today's shape is the triangle. To meet today's challenge, have at least one triangle on your card. Your twist is to colour something on your card: this could be with markers, paint, ink, whatever. It doesn't have to be an image. You can colour (or recolour) a die cut or wood veneer or chipboard also.
If your are collecting points for the team challenge, your points are as follows:
*Create a card based on the challenge: 2 points
*Apply the twist to your card: 1 point
*PLUS: create the card AND use the twist for a bonus of FIVE points!
Completion bonus: complete at least one card for ALL the CARDtober challenges for a COMPLETION BONUS of FIFTY points. My sample card:

justjac thanks for the triangle challenge! I like the depth of the repeated triangles on your card, and your excellent coloring. For awhile I wanted to use my hippo stamps and dies, so when I found the triangle background paper I thought to do the hippo in a pink tutu. As you can see, I'm no colorist but I will color for you, dear. Linda Lovely! You're tempting me to get those markers. Your coloring is nicely done. Here is my first try with some cheap big box store non-alcohol ink markers:  Booooo!!!! You can see the streaks. It was so bad I tried again with Crayola. Better. It is better in real light than with the scanner. Too grey a day here for photos.

Looks really cool!! embossed background, stamped flower coloured with Ohuhu markers, all scraps except the card base Your purple card is so lovely! I like the multi-hued triangles and the textured butterfly layer. I especially love cards that can be used for so many occasions, like this one. My triangle pennant is a bit buried, but it's there! I "colored" the black cat with a glittery clear pen, so I'm going to take the twist bonus for this one.   |

justjac , thank you for this challenge and for hosting us. I love your card. Did you cut out all those triangles? That's a cool card! Linda , I love that embossed background. I need to do that more often. Your flower is very pretty and I appreciate your telling what you used to color it. Very pretty card. jjpeapea , I love that hippo! justjac - that is a bunch of triangles, this one had me stumped for quite a while but I finally came up with a design. I will probably post that tonight. linda - Very nice, I am not a huge purple fan but I find I really like this card jjpeapea - what an adorable hippo image. I love that the triangle creates a base for the ballerina Ryann - Cool card, I am so bad at clustering and layering, yours is awesome.

Just as I finished this card I remembered that I hadn't looked at the twist. I actually had colored the tiny star yellow with a sharpie and colored every star and the sentiment with Wink of Stella. I don't think I can count that. LOL. justjac, I love the look of your triangles. That's a great set of dies!  Merry Christmas triangles |

Ryann that is a wonderful Halloween card. nylene your card is so pretty. I would have counted Wink of Stella for the twist even if you hadn't colored the little star. I can't wait to see what you make MARIBETHR.

At one time I was a ballet dancer and now I'd look a bit like the hippo. I always love dancing hippos. I didn't even notice the triangle except as an afterthought. You made adorable cards! |

All the cards are delightful. I’m sorry to be so slow to participate in doing the challenges. I was trying to go for easy, so I let my Cameo cut the layered triangle background (I’m too cheap to buy the super expensive layered dies). I added Heartfelt Creations cut aparts and the “Hello” die I used is from Queen & Co. (I think.)  |

jjpeapea, I love your little dancing hippo, no matter how you colour her! Setting her on the triangle is a great idea. maribeth, your triangle cards are really pretty whether you center them with a flower or a wreath. scrapnnana if this is an easy card, I don't think I could do one of your more difficult ones! So so pretty! Love that you put the layers over that bright pink: it all makes a really effective background for that pretty topper. Love in the Gallery for Ryann, justjac, and nylene.
