When I purchased these binders, I was under the impression they would last years and years.
I noticed they have become sticky and 2 have cracked at the edges.
They were stored in an indoor closet so it has never been too hot or too cold.
I had 2 that were still in the shrink wrap and those are sticky as well.
Has anyone else had a problem with the American Craft albums? I believe they came in different colors, but im not sure.
These were supposed to be leather and had the white stitching along the outer edge and white stitching around the square cutout in the center.

I did! Here's the thread I made for it. WRMK albumsI sent them an email (info@americancrafts.com) and they sent me new albums to replace the damaged ones. I suggest sending a photo of the damage in your email. Good luck!

I did email American crafts and out of the 7 that I own, they decided to replace only 3 because the albums did not have a "lifetime" warranty.
So, I feel ok about it. I guess I'm happy enough that they replaced the 3. The replacement style does not match my older ones but they do look better so ill need to decide whether to match the 3 albums they gave me or decide on something else altogether.
I feel terrible trashing the albums but they are sticky and I can see where a few others are about to split so out they go.
Thank you again jediannie!

Oh no, I have at least 50 of the WRMK albums. I have only had 2 that had an issue with the sticker. I turned them into albums that hold my PL and WRMK page protectors.

I guess it is better than nothing. The ones with the torn pleather I ended up giving to someone on Freecycle and they recovered them with fabric. They turned out beautifully! Maybe you can do that with the ones they didn't replace?

Honestly I had probably 30 or more and the majority that were lightly used did not hold up. I ended up downsizing and got rid of them. They flaked all over etc… stored in Florida always in ac home. I wouldn’t recommend them.

I wouldn’t recommend them. I had the exact same issue after I moved to Florida, all of those albums were ruined. I now use linen covered albums only.
