My brows are sparse and gray-ish. I DIY brow color that lasts a few weeks. I want to try a brow place but I'm afraid they will wax/tweeze too many and those will be gone forever. I rarely tweeze except for the obvious strays because of that, but I want them to look neat and not bushy. What kind of results have you had, did you like it? I add a pencil sometimes if I feel "fancy" lol.

I had mine done at a Sephora before the pandemic. The girl did a great job and found a pencil for me that matched perfectly. I was happy with the work. Now my brows are turning white to match my hair. I’m not sure if I should get them dyed or let them go white like my hair. I currently use a product in an applicator like mascara in a very light blond color. It does the job of covering the white and holds them in place, so I’ve just been making do with it.

Do they actually do brow shaping/tweezing at Ulta (in the store area, not the salon)? Or is it just finding products to make them look better?
I get mine threaded at the mall and love it. Much better than waxing for me. But if you don’t have threading nearby I would get waxed and then go to ulta or Sephora for color or to fill them in or continue to use your dye.

DD goes to Ulta for her waxing/brow shaping. It is her preferred place to have it done.

I’ve been going to the Ulta brow bar for years. They wax and shape and are helpful but not pushy if you have a question about products.

In my Ulta they do it in the store - it's done by "Benefit" employees. They do a great job and I love it. They also tint which lasts almost till the next time I get them waxed.

After my tragic overplucking experience as a young teen I made sure DD was well taken care of in regards to brow management.
I am super impressed by the Brow Bar at Ulta. Make sure you call ahead and get an appointment as there isn't always a brow trained employee working.

I just had my brows microbladed/feathered and I love them! I'm still in the healing phase but I love that I don't have to touch them to make them look good. Best decision ever. It did hurt, but so worth it!
My dd is a young teen and I'm planning on taking her to get her brows threaded. I will either take her to where I had my microbladed done or to a lady that I have used for threading.

I've had mine done at Nordstom. It was a great experience and they wouldn't tweeze something without your approval.
My dd worked at Ulta for a few summers during college. I wouldn't trust an Ulta employee to tweeze my brows. Apply product, yes.

I do my own but you don't have to worry that they'd never grow back--it takes much more than one tweeze to never grow back.
Plus I think they'd be far more likely to under-tweeze than over because very thin brows aren't a thing right now. If you ask me, they haven't been since the 1930s, but I'm admittedly an eyebrow snob. 😌

The tinting is a life changer for me! Our Ulta has a great benefit bar employee that does my brows. I have super light brows and the tint makes all the difference.

I have used the Benefit Brow Bar at Ulta and never had a bad experience. Agree that tinting Is a game-changer for making brows look fuller.

I wouldn't trust an Ulta employee to tweeze my brows. Apply product, yes. The brow bar staff at Ulta are trained by Benefit and are quite good. Pretty sure anyone doing waxing or tinting, even in an Ulta, has to be a licensed esthetician too. It's not like some random Ulta employee is on brows for the day.

I’ve had my eyebrows waxed at Ulta several times and have always been pleased. My eyebrows haven’t gotten any thinner as I’ve aged and I’ve been plucking the heck out of my eyebrows since I was eleven. I tend to think that whether your eyebrows thin as you age is determined by genetics more than any other factor. Every other part of my body is showing my age, but my eyebrows are as thick as ever. I don’t want to talk about my wrinkly skin.

I really need to start getting my brows done again. My favorite place was always Benefit. Either the local Benefit store or the benefit brow bar inside the department store.

I'm another who loves the Benefit Brow Bar at Ulta - plus you get points for it (and they often have double or triple point coupons). I've been doing it for years, and I've never had a bad experience.
