But the seller doesn’t want you to get rid of his collections. I'm a huge fan of his - honestly. I think "Bat Out of Hell" is one of the greatest rock albums ever written. This is why we are pea friends!

This can't really be $31,500 can it? I may never complain about my tax bill again. Annual Tax Amount: 31500

The outside looks like three or four homes pasted together. The inside seems disjointed with poor flow. I definitely agree. Even if the house were emptied and I could redecorate/renovate, I'd still have the issue of not liking how all of the additions have been handled.

5 million dollars - 2 bedrooms. And you have to redecorate and get rid of all his stuff. but it sounds like you CAN'T do that! no way. it started out normal and then I was like, 'umm... hmmm... nope!' eta: never heard of him, although I've heard of most of the songs listed from the Wikipedia entry that someone posted. And I do (kind of) like the ceiling painted like stars in the night sky... and a LITTLE of that obsidian blue color goes a long way.

With a living room, a den, a loft, an office, a library, a great room, a family room. Weird. (And those are all listed as having different dimensions, to I think they really are all different rooms.)

He may have had success but he is no Paul McCarthy or Stephen Sondheim. I think he thinks a bit too much of himself. Considering he's passed, I'm going to say it's not him who things highly of himself, but whomever owns the Estate now. As far as not renovating, there's nothing that says you can't. It sounds like that's what they want the intent to be, but once you purchase that house, you can do whatever you want with it (assuming it's not on some historical registry, which I very much doubt it is).

I'm shocked a real estate agent even accepted this listing, since the house is so overpriced. I would assume you would have to have a cash buyer, since it sounds like the house is not going to be appraised at anywhere near the asking price. Please keep us posted, peabay.
