Unless I am wrong, last I knew the federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour... **** What is the US Federal minimum wage 2022? The federal minimum wage for covered nonexempt employees is $7.25 per hour.

At some point this country and the world are going to have to come to the realization we can’t afford the high cost of ignoring climate change any longer

Thanks for the I told you so. Jayapal took responsibility for the letter and apologized. Other Representatives that signed the letter corroborated that it was written in June/ July. The first half of the letter actually praised Biden and I think the intentions of the remaining part were misunderstood. Although the timing could have been better. And you've made it clear that anything you disagree with is dumb and anyone you disagree with is stupid. Sorry to disappoint you but I wasn’t even thinking about you when I made that comment. It was aimed at that group of lawmakers for an inappropriate letter at the worst possible time. One of my frustrations is I can’t tell these people who’s actions affect me, even indirectly, how I feel. But I get the feeling a lot of Democratic lawmakers let them know it wasn’t a good idea. While we are on the same side we don’t agree on a lot of things. And that’s fine, you are entitled to your opinion just like I’m entitled to mine. And I doubt we are going to change each others opinions. This is why I very rarely comment on your posts and stay off your threads. When I do comment it’s when you are trying to “school” me on one of my opinions you disagree with and whether intended to or not it comes across like I don’t have many brain cells left in the old noggin. So it comes down to you believing I think everyone who disagrees with me is dumb and you thinking the same thing about my opinions you disagree with. So I think it’s in both our interest to ignore each other’s posts. The difference is that I've never called you dumb or stupid. Or your opinions dumb or stupid. If that's how my posts come across, it's not my intention. I'm not trying to "school" anyone, just present a different viewpoint or different perspective. A lot of the tweets, posts, opinions etc that you disagree with, you call dumb or stupid. Or the people that write them/ say them. Why can't you tell legislators what you think?

Here in CT we can register to vote at the DMV. All of that is tied to my face, address, license plates to all my car including my kids etc. I get that, but people can get your license plate anywhere. Just to be clear, I'm not condoning this behavior. It is just clearly to intimidate and should be illegal. Yeah, I totally get where you are coming from. I was just mentioning that we can register to vote at the DMV so it’s all linked in the same system. Now while driving down the road most people don’t pay attention to plate numbers, but the poll stalkers are paying more attention to who’s dropping ballots off early. If they knew someone at the dmv that was a GQP sympathizer then those addresses could be leaked which would put the voters in harms way. Fun side note early voting is actually in our ballot this year. We are one of I think 4 states that doesn’t have early voting. It will be interesting to see the results of that. And I’ve also noticed the vote yes for early voting signs are only with the political signs of democrats.

That comment is really an insult to the men and women of the military. It really is. He thought he was making some “gotcha” comment against the libs but all he did was insult the men and women who serve.

It’s just reserved for women. I’m beginning to think the religious right wants to make sure all women are second class citizens.

All sarcasm and joking aside. If the voters elect those who feel like this guy, and there are plenty running, then that grand experiment started over 200 years ago will have ended in failure. No joke.

Well actually kids are not safe in their own homes if their parents own guns. Case in point the 8 year old who accidentally shot his 10 year old brother with a shotgun in their home.

MTG skipped out from a live interview and Q&A.. The show "Night Talk" on UCTV in North Georgia has citizens call in to ask questions. While Greene was happy to answer questions from co-host Judy O'Neal, about the scandals she's faced over the past few years, including the text messages she exchanged with White House chief of staff Mark Meadows about attempting to overthrow the 2020 election. The questions Greene faced from callers weren't complex, and one even told her how "proud" she was of the voting record Greene had in Congress. The show went to commercial and Greene disappeared. The show had a political commercial from Greene's opponent, Marcus Flowers, and upon returning from the commercial, that's when Greene disappeared. www.rawstory.com/marjorie-taylor-greene-flees-interview/

My guess is for guys like Walker that before he decided to run for Senator as a Republican he saw abortions as a means to an end.
