Ah this is probably something a Republican shouldn’t post for fear of being struck down for being less then honest in how they see/treat the poor. Ronny, Ronny, Ronny... If you are going to quote scriptures you REALLY must know and believe what they say to you, before you try to convince others. I know, why don't you, Ronny?

onelasttimeBut Ron Johnson objects to those who are getting a higher education and are willing to 'speak' out. Shows how the Republicans well disassemble our schools at all levels. (You only need to suffer the begining)

As a follow up .. Devin (of cow fame) Nunes. Wants to investigate the FBI.. He also says Durham is NOT being allowed to fully present his case. Former Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) this week called on Congress to create a new commission that would investigate the FBI the same way the 9/11 terrorists were investigated.During an appearance on Fox News, Nunes warned host Maria Bartiromo that the country might not "survive" because there is a "two-tier justice system" that targets Republicans in his mind. "One of the things that are going to have to happen is there's going to be a commission that has not been done in a long time in Congress," he said. "It's going to have to be created to look at all the malfeasance of the FBI that's not just about the Russia hoax, but something that may be similar to the Church Commission, maybe like the 9/11 Commission." "Because, look, if this doesn't happen, the calls to disband the FBI are going to get louder and louder because, you know, half of Americans can not live in a system where one party is treated differently than the other," he added. This is going to be the problem," Nunes replied, "the FBI is very clever about hiding in these grey areas and hiding the ball from Congress. So, look, this is a bad situation for the Republicans to be going into, but at least we have the experience, bad experience over the last five or six years. We know how to deal with these guys like never before." (Me: says the person from the bushes and his good bud, Kash Patel)youtu.be/78Tu1-hRVgw... And a lot more... www.rawstory.com/devin-nunes-fbi-commission/

Trump only did something for Isreal when it was in his best interests. Like a $20 million donation to his super PAC in exchange for moving the embassy. Then he tried to offer the West Bank to the King of Jordan (despite the fact that it clearly wasn't his to offer). Everything is transactional with him. He expects Jewish people to support him because he moved the embassy and can't understand why they might not like him. Maybe it starts with the fact that he keeps calling them the Jews. www.nytimes.com/2022/09/28/books/review/confidence-man-donald-trump-maggie-haberman.htmlLater, Haberman writes, Trump accepted a $20 million Super PAC contribution from the billionaire Sheldon Adelson to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/10/16/trump-jews-israel/Trump has long been frustrated that he has not drawn more support from American Jews, particularly when as president, he moved the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and his Jewish son-in-law, Jared Kushner, helped negotiate new treaties between Israel and some of its Arab neighbors.
In Sunday’s post, Trump wrote that his support among people living in Israel is “a different story.” “Highest approval rating in the World, could easily be P.M.!” he wrote, contrasting his popularity in the foreign country with his support among American Jews.
Trump’s post drew quick criticism. “We don’t need the former president, who curries favor with extremists and antisemites, to lecture us about the US-Israel relationship,” Anti-Defamation League chief executive and national director Jonathan Greenblatt said in a statement. “It is not about a quid pro quo; it rests on shared values and security interests. This ‘Jewsplaining’ is insulting and disgusting.”
On her personal Twitter account, Neera Tanden, a senior adviser to President Biden, wrote, “We should all stand against what feels like a growing chorus of anti-Semitism. There should be no quarter for it in our politics or culture.”

Given that Mike Lee should have easily won in Utah, the close race is surprising. Lee went on Fox to beg for Romney's support. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/10/16/lee-mcmullin-utah-senate-republicans/McMullin is redefining the alternative to the Republican Party: A center-right candidate who can attract Democrats, Republicans and independents. That tactic might be the single-most effective way to pressure the GOP to step away from MAGA extremism (other than cycle after cycle of blistering defeats). Indeed, anyone concerned about the MAGA threat to democracy should be backing McMullin. Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) has endorsed McMullin. What about Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) or former Republican senators?
This is an all-hands-on-deck moment for American democracy, so these patriotic, pro-democracy Republicans and others should consider following Kinzinger’s lead.

Crete now has at least two dead from torrential rain with masi e flooding... But no climate changes..... Two people were killed after torrential rain brought major flooding to the Greek island of Crete, firefighters said on Sunday. The rains forced the evacuation of several homes and unleashed extensive damage in seaside villages, where streets became rivers carrying away everything in their path, local media reported. The flash floods pushed several cars into the sea along the beach of the seaside resort of Agia Pelagia, with some almost completely submerged in the water surrounded by debris. www.rawstory.com/major-flooding-in-crete-kills-two/

Seriously? She is claiming she was a victim of the January 6 attack on the Capital.
And the new buzz term for the Republicans appears to be “two-tiered Justice system.”
Well they are right that there is a two-tiered Justice system but not the way they think it is.

They surely are not dependent on social security. Maybe for loose change in their pockets.. Although I am sure they are more then happy to collect it! They do have very good doctors at their hospital. I have a friend in the Orlando area who went there for eye surgery.

I swear they are all nuts... Watch Dr Oz on Kimmel a while ago... *** Also .... Oz reported in 2019 that his sister attempted to stab him on July 1 of that year. He claims she suffers from psychological issues despite the fact that her sister was stable enough to be caring for their mother, who had Alzheimer's Disease, the Turkish Sabah daily reported at the time. They then became enthralled in a financial battle over their inheritance. While the doctor had his own millions, several homes and a television show, he accused his sister of robbing him of the inheritance he claimed was his, Page Six reported in March 2022. www.rawstory.com/mehmet-oz-stabbed-sister-needle/

New Book Reveals Jim Jordan’s Dirty Tricks With ImpeachmentREPUBLICAN OVERSIGHT Matt Fuller Senior Politics Editor Published Oct. 16, 2022 8:25PM ET For anyone who watched the House’s 2019 impeachment of Donald Trump over withholding military aid to Ukraine, it’s probably not a surprise that Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) wasn’t quite an unbiased investigator. But a new book about Trump’s two impeachment trials details how Jordan worked to frame the Ukraine scandal as a nothingburger—even when he knew there was more damning information that had yet to come out—and defended Trump’s stonewalling tactics, even when he disagreed and tried to convince the president to cooperate. In “Unchecked,” Politico’s Rachael Bade and The Washington Post’s Karoun Demirjian lay out how Jordan made his way into Trump’s inner circle, became a key defender of the president, misled the media with strategic leaks, and defended Trump’s decisions to block key testimony. Jordan’s staff did not reply to a request for comment. In October 2019, Jordan knew Trump was considering a bombastic letter from White House counsel Pat Cipollone that would refuse to turn over documents and block testimony from certain administration officials, according to exclusive excerpts from the book that The Daily Beast obtained. But on the morning that the House’s impeachment panel was set to interview U.S. ambassador to the European Union Gordan Sondland, the Trump administration blocked Sondland’s appearance. And Jordan was just as surprised as everyone else. *** According to the book, Jordan lied and said Republicans were looking forward to Sondland testifying, that they thought he’d “reinforce exactly what Ambassador Volker told us last week.” (Whole lot more in piece) www.thedailybeast.com/new-book-reveals-jim-jordans-dirty-tricks-during-trumps-impeachment

Wrong, just wrong!!
If his wonderful former leaders were against slavery, why did they NOT support full equality and freedom for all their slaves. Jefferson so great, ask Sally Hemings, living in a closet sized room in the dark for Jefferson's pleasure. Fortunately Jefferson's other descendents have accepted and embraced the Hemings' descendents...
DeSantis is a disgusting pig...
*** Be advised I am glad we had the old leaders we had, they set us into a good track. We still have a lot to learn and correct to make it all right...

I agree with the response except for the getting fired part. I would like nothing more than to see him lose, but I'm not optimistic. And he's a rising star in the Republican Party, regrettably. projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/governor/2022/florida/DeSantis' deliberately vague don't say gay bill is working exactly as intended. After voting to approve October as LGBTQ awareness month last year by an 7-1 vote, the Miami Dade school board voted against it this year 8-1. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/10/13/dont-say-gay-florida-desantis-lgbtq-discrimination/DeSantis's attacks on freedom of the press, freedom of speech and higher education are really dangerous. His political revenge on anyone who disagrees with him and authoritarian tendencies are also really worrisome. I'm glad to see this guy is fighting back. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/10/16/distinguished-person-andrew-warren/
