I'm actually popping in to let you know about the package. My husband left on a business trip about a week ago and I had given him the swap package to mail while he was dropping by the UPS store on his way out of town. I forgot to follow up on it with him and assumed it had been sent. He returned from his trip this evening and I just found the package sitting on the back seat.
I am so sorry. I was so pleased I had finished the swap and had it on its way ahead of schedule. And now I am mad because I really should have shipped it myself.
I'm going to go onto the USPS website and buy postage tonight and then run it to the post office. At least it will be there ready first thing in the morning to go out. Again, I am so sorry that it is late. I had a great time making my project for all of you lovely Peas. I hope you guys enjoy my contribution to the swap.
Houston, be advised: Rich Purnell is a steely-eyed missile man.
Labels are printed. I will post tracking numbers later today so that you can stalk.
Full disclosure -- I did the exact same thing as for the Halloween swap and for some reason shipping was only 7.60 per item. I don't know what happened but it seems unlikely the USPS dropped prices. But who knows.
So many of you sent extra anyway. So next swap, we can reconcile that.
