He’s the runt so the vet expects him to stay pretty small. He’s almost ten pounds at almost six months. He’s the sweetest boy! Always wants to be held and snuggled. Definitely a lap dog at this point lol

As the mom of a mutt that heavily includes corgi.. Get ready. The neediness and the loving is going to be overwhelming.
My girl was a found on the road special. She's only enough corgi that her DNA says so on level two (boxer and shepherd are both stronger) but visually, she is a short legged, fluffy butt, with the cutest little corgo face!! We call her a full size pupper with a short snack body! She looks like a corgi when she is laying down and disapproving. Her fur is literally softer than velour, and her snuggling is world class.
I'll tell you, I've had a number of dogs (I'm usually a one doggo home, and a family member is home for life- so a number is 4 as an adult- 4 as a kid.)
She is special. She is the most loving, most adoring and most adorable family member, ever. She makes everyone feel loved, and she makes it clear she is loving on her person. She is a dream come true and this New Year will mark 10 years from when I found her, pregnant, severely neglected and running through the woods in the winter time. Our dog at the time, in Jan 2013, was an elderly English bulldog with car payment vet bills. I literally had no need, or want, for another dog. Our EB hated other dogs. But, she let me bring this one in the house after the initial vet visit. I was going to fix her up, raise her and her puppies up, and find them new homes though a fantastic rescue (that came to MY rescue when I was panicking!) She velcro-ed herself to my son, and it just happened. It has been a match made in heaven for our family for ever microsecond since she came to me that day.
I've had Afghan hounds, and an English bulldog prior to her. She is my found on the side of the road, the goodest girl, ever. I cherish every bit of her, and I hope your baby corgi gives you even a fraction of the love and adoration (while being owned by her!) that we have enjoyed with our fraction of a corgi.

Please share a picture. What a special story! She sounds absolutely wonderful. My Corgi Dandelion lived for fourteen years and passed in May. She outlived all of her litter mates, so I feel lucky we had her so long. 💔. Tumbleweed’s name is a nod to our little Dandy “weed”

He won’t grow into his ears - Corgis are known for their giant ears. He’s small for his age but his ears are big!
