Over the years I have collected a few punches, and then a while back TM had all these punches for 4.99, and then Target clearanced out their punches (ek success) and then I saw a few layouts with super cute border punches...all that to say that my punch collection has increased in a short amount of time! I love them all, but there are a couple I reach for over and over again. I have a small cloud punch that just fits so well for summery LO, or days at the park, or apple picking...I am sure I can even work it into a snowy LO. It's so darn cute! And my hexagon punches are so fun, they are really great on a masculine card or LO. Just a strong bold shape. But my FAVE punch is my label/ticket punch. Shows up on almost every lo. joblackford you are a rockstar! What are your favorite punches? ETA I am still looking for that scalloped edge border punch that Shimelle uses all the time...I just love it.

I only have a few - 2 small circles, a large circle and a slightly larger scalloped circle, a hexagon, a snowflake, a small heart, and a big dragonfly. The dragonfly I've had forever and I still love it. The circles get the most use though because they are just so basic and useful

The ones I use the most for scrapbooking are my circle punches (basic, scalloped and a pinking edge one) and hexagon. I also like my large star punch! I have several border punches but they don't get used very often. I use them more for mini books.

. But my FAVE punch is my label/ticket punch. Shows up on almost every lo. joblackford you are a rockstar! Ooh, link or photo of this amazing punch pls! I have several sizes of circles, an old file tab punch, banner tag, Mickey Mouse head in multi sizes, a scallop circle and a few hexagons from when Ali E did a hexagon product play. Circles get the most use but tab has been a keeper for a long time. I had a giant collection years ago, but they were so heavy and took up too much room so I gave away everything.

I don't have a lot of punches, but I do have some. The ones that get the most use are 1/4" and 1" circles, and decorative corners. Can't say I reach for any of the others over thinlet dies.

My tag punch is probably my most-used punch, and a fancy-edged label is second-most used. Others I use a lot are the regular 1-inch circle, 1.5" (? I think) scalloped circle, scalloped oval, squares (2 sizes), snowflakes (2 sizes), dragonfly, swirl shape, flowers (2 sizes; different shapes), & butterfly (small). I have a decent-sized collection of punches (many not mentioned in this list), but not over-the-top, so all of them get used at one time or another. Depends on what season or theme I'm scrapping.
As for border punches (not included in the above list), I probably use the grass one the most, and the scalloped "lacy" border 2nd-most. But I just bought a wave border punch (thanks TM-enablers, LOL), so it might overtake one of the others. I can see a lot of uses for that one.
A couple of years ago I bought a speech bubble punch that I thought I'd get a lot of use out of, and surprisingly I haven't used it nearly as much as I expected. Maybe I need to explore some ways to use it...hmmm. I still think it's really cute and could be used on both layouts and cards; I'll just have to get creative with it!

I regularly use punches for basic shapes (e.g. corner, circle, label, tab, star, heart, hexagon, hole reinforcer) & borders. The EK Success Large Photo Labels Punch is my favorite & most used shape punch. Both EK Success Binding & Round Binding are my most used border punches, although Fiskars Upper Crest may be my favorite.

I have kept all my punches, they are quicker than hauling out my Big Shot or Cricut sometimes and I have them all stored in one container so they don't take up that much space. My favorite punch that I use the most is a little primitive heart punch. It's a thumb punch made by Pebbles (EK Success) I have had for years and it's perfect to add when you need a little something on a layout. LINK TO PICTURE OF PUNCH ON ETSY

I thought I started a comment to say you’re welcome, glad someone is making good use of that punch because I sure wasn’t! Anyway, I guess I got interrupted and never posted my reply.
I use the 3 heart punches I have, and not much else. I have a couple of snowflakes and a bat punch that I sometimes remember to use and a couple of circle punches. I should check and see if I still have my speech bubble punch and use it or lose it.

I have a Martha Stewart butterfly punch that I reach for again and again. It's somehow simpler than running a die thru the machine. I also have an oak leaf punch that is fantastic for fall cards. Ooooh my other favorite is a button punch, also by MS. My border punches get good use, though they are a bit trickier - it feels like a gamble to use a border punch on a treasured piece of paper!

My most used punch, at least at the moment, is a 1/2" circle which I use with a normal office store hole punch to make the rings for tags. Outside of that I don't have a ton of punches, but tend to use border punches more than anything. My most used are probably the Fiskars Upper Crest (like PaperAngel this may be my favourite punch) and Threading Water followed by a notebook edge and that giant scallop that Shimelle often uses.

I don't have many punches or dies but definitely have favorites. My favorite punch is my large scallop border punch (EK). And I love a Momenta hexagon die that I don't use often enough. My few alphabet dies probably get used the most as I don't have an electronic cutter. kmage, I looked for that punch that Shimelle uses for a long time - it's also an EK punch. Finally found it at Joann's. Hope you have luck finding one too.

I have a bunch of the EK Success circle punches in various sizes (it's quicker for me than using a die) and a couple of the "tag topper" punches from Stampin' Up (essentially you just cut a 2" strip of paper, and then use the punch to make the top of the tag) that get used all the time. All of these punches are good for cluster bases. I recently bought some nesting hearts too, that I am very fond of. I hate that the punches are so heavy, but they really are one of my most used tools. It's just such a pain when I am scrapping away from home and want to bring twenty pounds of punches.

The dies I like the most (love, love, love) are snowflake dies. I have 48 sets an I’ll probably buy a few this year. I know, it’s an addiction. It’s me in TX, wishing for snow!

I remember on the old Two Peas when the Threading Water punch was popular, after reading people posting about it I ended up buying it too.

I had a massive purge a few years ago and got rid of most of the punches I had so I only have a few left. I use my Fiskars circle punch frequently and the Fiskers star and heart hand punches that are hole punch sized, I also have a generic heart and star punches that I use on occasion. The other punches I use a whole lot are the American Crafts knock outs border punches, I use them a lot. Sometimes a layout is just missing that something and a soft border punch of vellum usually saves the day for me.

I'm pretty sure that is why I also own it It's a versatile punch though, I still really like it and reach for it often.

Fiskers star and heart hand punches that are hole punch sized Oh my goodness! I never thought about punching a bunch of those tiny shapes out of foil cardstock and using them in place of sequins or enamel dots! Mind. Blown. So glad I didn't purge those things!!! Thanks!

This is what I do with most of my special paper scraps. If you like making shakers, glue up two pieces back-to-back and then punch away. Makes pretty glitter pieces. Usually I stash my extra stars/hearts/diamonds in a sticky album page so I can pick them off individually for embellishments. It's far more convenient than having to dig out the prismatic paper and cut a couple fiddly little bits each time.

I could never find it back in the day. I do have some tiny heart dies I like (but are no longer made) but it's only three, but they are all slightly different. Punches are much more convenient when you want a lot of the same shape. I have done some searching on Aliexpress and have found some okay substitute dies.

My punch collection seems to have grown, I have quite a few. I like the convenience of punches instead of hunting for a die for sentiments, mostly. I have several different sizes of label/tag punches for this purpose, and I seem to grab my double oval punch most often (one plain oval and one scalloped oval to layer behind). And I don't think I could do without my corner rounding punches. I do have some cutesy punches that matched some stamp sets, and I also have a small flower punch I like to use a lot, too. All this said, they won't replace my dies and my dies won't replace my punches, I have room for both. I do tend to look for stand alone dies, now, that can stand the tests of time in multipurpose use.

I use my (fiskars?) scallop border punch a lot. I like it to fill in space on cards and layouts.

I have a heart one that I probably use the most.
My favorite are these small ones that punch triangles, add some twine and I have a banner on my layout...

I love all of my scallop border punches and I use them often. I also use my confetti heart punch often. It punches small hearts in three different sizes. I layer patterned paper hearts over cardstock hearts for a little dimension. It’s a nice alternative to enamel dots for finishing touches.
