Thanks for your patience. It is the Thanksgiving long weekend here in Canada and I lost track of the days. Your Sunday challenges will be based on shapes. Today's shape is the circle. To meet today's challenge, have at least one circle on your card. Your twist is to use rainbow colours. If your are collecting points for the team challenge, your points are as follows: *Create a card based on the challenge: 2 points *Apply the twist to your card: 1 point *PLUS: create the card AND use the twist for a bonus of FIVE points! Completion bonus: complete at least one card for ALL the CARDtober challenges for a COMPLETION BONUS of FIFTY points. My sample card: Celebrate EverythingI scraplifted this from Pinterest.

justjac Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! Thank you for the circle and rainbow challenge. Your vivid colors on your example card are so eye catching and the stitches make it look so polished. My card was inspired by a scrapbook layout I did awhile back. This is my favorite card of CARDtober so far.

Here is my circle card. This is for a friend's 90th birthday party today. I included printed ribbon and velvet pp because she loves pretty things. Hi Happy birthday by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I shamelessly lifted your card design, justjac. But I think now that I see your card with the blended stripe circles, jjpeapea, I feel another lift coming on...

grammadee you're not kidding with the lift! Now I realize how it's done, so there may be a lift in my future too.

Here is mine. I don't like the gold edge on my panel, next time if I redo it I will leave that off. CARDtober #9 by Azcrafty, on Flickr

grammadee that embossing folder was perfect for this card! azcrafty I love the way you used the negative of the circles to show your pretty colours.

azcrafty well I see what you mean, but I love your card in the middle. And those interesting rounded edges! Maybe the edge should just pick up on one of the colors in the middle. Linda so fun! Rainbow-y, circle-y and kaleidoscope-y all at once. I dearly love a kaleidoscope. What a fun die and used so well for this challenge.

justjac, I love your beautiful card. I scraplifted it for a card for my DD for her b-day. I love that embossed background. I wish I had thought of that before I adhered mine to the back layer. You have love in the gallery. grammadee and azcrafty, I left love in the gallery. Beautiful cards! jjpeapea, I love the use of the negative space and the mix of colors that show through the holes. Very clever idea. Beautiful work. Linda, I love your cool, layered kaleidoscope die cuts. They look so versatile. I'm sure you will find lots of uses for them. This card is lovely. I am running out of room in my Flickr acct so I grouped two cards together. The 2nd is for this challenge. Hello Card and Birthday Card

nylene Well now that is so festive with the bold colors. That's a nice looking edge on the circles.

MDscrapaholic so shiny and cute. A snowman is a perfect use of circles! scrapnnana Wow, that is such a nice effect with the pieces all pieced in the circles. I like how the colors of the background paper matches the solid paper in the circles.
